IFollow is shit, and its entire methodology is based on rinsing supporters for a sub-standard „product“.

I would like to be able to see it on the TV set in my living room.

If like me your TV isn't all that smart...

If you have a HDMI port on your tv and an HDMI dvd player, take the HDMI cable out of your DVD player and plug it into your pc/laptops HDMI port if you have one and it should work as a monitor. You would need to set the tv to the same setting that brings up your DVD output. Alternatively if you have two HDMI ports on your tv put a cable in the second HDMI port on your tv and connect it to your pc / laptop HDMI port.

What do you base this on? Having watched several matches from Ifollow on dodgy streams the coverage seems reasonable comparativly for what you get.

I base it on the amount of money it costs for the quality you get.

The cost is twice that of Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney Plus, the quality is very poor in comparison and the apps (which you’re locked in to if you’re trying to watch on a mobile device) are frankly rubbish.

I haven't got smart tv, but a smart dvd player. It does a good job with youtube, haven't bothered with any of the other apps. Don't know how I'd get ifollow on it, don't think there's an option to search for apps. Looks like it's the pc monitor unless I can get a longer HDMI cable. That's assuming that I have a HDMI output on the PC, not sure I do.

This is by far and away the best and most reliable option IMO.

Big problem is my TV is smart, but I'm not. The TV is not smart enough to press it's own buttons, so it's all a bit wasted on Casa Poodle.

Honestly, it’ll be more of a headache to try and get it to work on the smart tv app than just to use your laptop and plug a HMDI cable in.

There is both an app for ios and android, and an embedded flash web player that you access through the website.

I typically use the web browser version with a HMDI cable to the TV from my macbook

PC at my desk (wired) with Chrome -> forest web site
Set Chrome to Chromecast (wifi) which is connected to TV
Set video (in browser) to full-screen
Me -> sofa with beer + tablet (wifi) browsing to LTLF

Derby left iFollow (or never joined?) and started their own service which allows you to watch all youth/reserve/senior games of theirs with interviews/press conferences etc . I remember watching an u23 games of ours against them and it was the level of production you would want from your club. Think Leicester went this route too.

Forest need to start growing this aspect of the club. We following behind in so much to east midlands neighbours in so many things.

Would I be right in thinking that this falls within Jonny Owen's brief as director for digital media and communications (or some other such title)?

No it won’t. Any game shown on Sky is „exclusive“ to them, so no iFollow Video for you.

You would however still be able to get just the audio commentary, which is essentially just Radio Nottingham with Colin Fray.
