Don’t think he could deal with the pressure in the end and I think it’s showed in this move, good luck to him though.

That’s a good move for him, he will do well there, as the MLS doesn’t demand the physical side of the game (where he suffers a bit) but rewards instead the slower, more technical football.

Revs are a very decent side too.
Technical.....

Most of that league is garbage.

It is a lower standard, yes, it it isn’t full of absolute brutes who try and kick seven shades out of you, which is where he struggles.

A slower paced league with less rough stuff is ideal for Mance. I think he will do well.

MLS only has good strikers, rest are garbage. Which is unfortunate for a central defender.

Shame how it turned out, looked good at first but his decline has been a steep one. Nothing against the bloke though, good luck to him. A good move for him IMO.

I have seen many football players who are OK at their job, but at some point stop being hungry. Invariably they get worse after that point.

I think some of us were surprised he was offered the extension last summer under Warburton. The decline started well before last season.

I thought it was a great signing at the time, but he's been disappointing since pretty much the get go. I never really got the impression his heart was in it.

Could look like the best centre back in the league sometimes, but also could look like the worst.

Strange player. Good luck to him MLS is turning into a very exciting league.

This move confirms his desire has gone.

It’s disappointing when you see a player like that who’s just happy to pick up wages after probably having a lot of fight in them early on in their career.

Hope he does well in his retirement phase across the Atlantic.

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
Let’s hope he has a word in Darryl Murphy’s ear on the wonders of the MLS

Can't say I'll look back on his time with us with any affection.

He was just a man employed by the club to do a job, and will be remembered about as well as the guy who works in the ticket office.

Short memories have kicked in again i see.

Bloke has played under about 10 manages in his time here, played centre back, right back, left back and centre midfield for the good of the team and in his first two/two and half year here was our best and most consistent defender.

Good luck to him, it's a cracking move for him and his family.

Talk about being damned with faint praise.

He was meh.

One thing that he was shit at was heading, good god. I know Barry remembers that incredible miss right in front of goal.

In other words it’s a shit league full of players who are shit/past it and watched by dozy twats who know f*** all about the game
