Mancienne & his team have played another f***ing blinder here, notice he's pulled the vacant look out for the photo again.

Anyway, played 7, lost 4, drawn 2, lost 1 with Mancienne starting. Theyve shipped 12 goals, 8 in the last 3, which suggests Manc is really getting into his stride now.

He's crap. In the fanny stakes, he makes McKay look brave.

I don’t think Mancienne is a fanny, he gave us a good few years, he just lost his way.

I concur..... he looked like a man on course for a breakdown....more frightened by life rather than one of being kicked.

Sounds like a similar amount to what he would have been on here

Yep. About £18k a week, at current exchange rate, but given his salary is priced in dollars which is strong at the mo then if he moved back to England he wouldn't be commanding £18k a week, it'd be nearer the £15k mark.

Seems like money well spent.

He signed for them on 3rd Aug. Since then NE have:

Played - 10
Won - 1
Drawn - 4
Lost - 5

For - 12
Against - 19

Seems like Mancienne is 'leading' like we know he can.

Conceding 19 goals in 10 games is an impressive return. No doubt all of those goals were Danny Fox's fault as well.

Article says he’s not played yet due to visa and clearance. So if you think those stats are bad...

Must be bad if you're waiting impatiently for Michael Mancienne to come into your side to fix your defensive issues.

Probably depends if money is your god, personally I’d be embarrassed that I’d had to scuttle off to some far flung pub league because I didn’t have the bollocks or mental strength to cope in the English second division

Yeah who'd want to go and live in a beautiful part of the world like New England when he could have dropped down a league in England and gone and played for someone like Barnsley.

Training with Lincoln to get fit. Appleton might consider him depending on how his fitness goes.

Think he’s without a club so can sign at any time?

Another major disappointment in a Forest shirt.

Paid one $1million a season over 3 seasons in the MLS. Bearly made 30 apps. Im guessing they feel the same.

Major disappointment in a Forest shirt? He was excellent for us. Towards the end he declined but overall he was fantastic and extremely versatile across the back 4, highly respected in the dressing room too and that's why he was captain.

Its weird how 2 people can have complete opposite views, I also thought he wasn't very good for us, right from the start I thought we were weaker when he played and he only got worse and worse

Also wasn't a fan. Thought he started OK but then became a liability.

Football moved on from when he was coming through as a kid, a lot more physicality in the game and CB's nowadays are all 6 foot+. He looked like a boy against men too many times and didn't really have any redeeming features. Couldn't pass the ball, wasn't particularly quick...

He read the game well but always seemed a bit docile, was good when up for it.

He just never matched the physicality this league needed.

I’m currently watching Posh vs Burton with Mrs c_r, hadn’t realised he’d ended up at Burton.
Hasn’t changed at all.

He’s also getting his arse handed to him, physically speaking, by Jonson Clarke-Harris. He could never handle a physical striker.
