I’m a massive fan of Henderson, would love his signing to happen. He’s not worth anywhere near 30mil though and Turner is a very good keeper who Arsenal were happy to drop best end of 10mil on.

Arsenal now trying to move to an elite squad level whereby they can actually top Man City.

I wouldn’t be over estimating the drop off from Hendo to a keeper like a Turner. It’s not significantly different. Other than maybe 12-15mil less expensive......

I think Henderson is a far superior keeper to turner in my view. Although I agree completely I wouldn’t pay 30 mill. However I would rather we get Navas on free and pay high wages or get Livakovic than bleeding Turner.

Some decent views on Turner (according to others). Had enough of the Hendo saga now, great lad great shot stopper, awful feet.

Get the deal done with Arsenal, then give a chunk of the saving to Brennan, the thought of selling him gives me “beginning of the end” vibes.

Yeah you could be right. I’m of the view we’ve messed about too much at keeper. Stacks of options. Hopefully we get sorted in the coming days.

Aina might not necessarily be Lodi's replacement anyway, given that we are still trying to sign another left back and the fact that Aina can also play on the right.

But I do like what (admittedly little) I've seen of Aina though.

That’s just seem like 15mil gets a job done, 10/12 plus add ons to make the difference. Still seems a bit steep but all keeper prices seem to be.

So what if Fulham fans rave about him? That dosen’t mean he’s as good as Lodi. I’ve seen both Aina and Lodi play and I think at this stage that Lodi is a superior player. That can obviously change and I hope my opinion does cause if he is as good as Lodi on a free I’d be estatic.
