Is he even any good? Never played in the league for Arsenal unless I’ve missed something?

Sounds a bit risky signing someone who’s only really played in the MLS to be our number one.

edit - I wish beesfan was still here to explain how losing Raya to Arsenal’s bench is actually a good thing and shows why there the best club in the whole world.

I would have expected that he must be half decent with his feet for Arsenal to want to pick him up

In fairness Brentford have already replaced Raya, they got a deal sorted for Flekken in May and aren't scrambling around for a first and second choice keeper with less than two weeks to go until the first game of the season so I'd probably leave that one

Was going to ask what he like with his feet.
A lot of our issues with playing the ball out, is due to our keepers poor distribution.
We need all the help we can get in that dept

They replaced him expected Raya would go to Man United, then he didn't and they are desperately trying to offload him club to club now.

“Nottingham Forest will sign only one goalkeeper this summer between Matt Turner and Dean Henderson.”

I honestly didn’t think it was difficult to comprehend but clearly not. Forest will sign one of Henderson or Turner not both.

Tails and Danny Taylor have issued articles via the Athletic saying we want two goalkeepers.

Percy said we are looking at two goalkeepers.

I think it’s pretty clear the plan is Henderson or Turner plus another, but interpret it however you like.

I don't see Turner as a downgrade on Henderson in the slightest. I'd say they are both much of a muchness. With Turner being good with the ball at his feet and his shot stopping. I wouldn't be opposed to either of them and the more the farce continues with United I'd be more inclined to get Turner in.

The Arsenal fans definitely do. Apparently he was great in the cups.

Going against the grain here, certainly on Twitter at least. But remember watching him play for the USA in the World Cup and thinking he looked like a good keeper.

Could do everything you want a modern goalie to do, and some good saves.
