Lampard as a manager is so dislikable. I remember as Chelsea manager when he had a touchline argument with Klopp and people might think badly about Klopp but that was totally on Lampard.

Probably the frustration of being out of his depth.

Everton, Southampton, Brentford. I'd expect them all to be down there.

Not sure about Leeds or Palace. The Leeds manager is still an unknown quantity and Vieira seems to get the best out of his players.

I can give you some info on Jesse Marsch, having seen his Leipzig side - he’s a terrible coach.

Confusing tactical instructions, really basic tactics, and seems to think he can just shout at his players and slap them on the back and all is well.

Lawn Ball Sport Leipzig soon saw his limitations, even though he was „one of theirs“ and had come up through the ranks of Red Bull sponsored clubs, and got rid after a few months of mediocrity.

I was astonished when I saw he’d got the Leeds job.

To put it simply, he’s a whining little bitch who has an inflated opinion of himself.

He was a brilliant player and almost likeable, but as a manager there is nothing likeable about him.

I don’t think he was even likeable as a player. Played for chelsea for a start!! Showed his true colours after 9/11 with Jody Morris and the rest of the arrogant chelsea bellends.

My mate who’s a Leeds fan is convinced it’s all a conspiracy against the bloke and people are just being anti American, I can’t wait for him to realise that he’s a clown and will be sacked by November.

Lampard's Everton? I recon so.
They're a very good shout for relegation next season and I have no doubts they'll be in the relegation battle. I gave them a slight edge over Leeds because they have slightly more individual quality in their squad. I fully expect Lampard and Marsch - two of the three worst coaches in the PL alongside Parker - to be sacked midway through the season, and the team that stays up will be whichever blinks first, in my opinion.

Not that it matters from Forest's perspective anyway given how we'll finish in the top half.

What was the issue with 9/11?
Was he more of a 5ive fan?
(No, seriously what was the post 9/11 thing? I am curious).

Marsch is terrible. He briefly managed Montreal and they looked disorganized. Never understood why Leipzig gave him the reins. Let alone Leeds.

Well let's hope that continues next season.

They've bought some very good players already including the tricky winger Sinisterra from Feyenoord, who finished joint 10th top scorer in the Dutch league.

If he can't get a tune out of the players he has always wanted himself, then he will be under immense pressure next season.

Essentially instead of the depicted boy band, imagine Jody Morris, John Terry and Fat Frank (With I think Frank Sinclair) getting hammered at a hotel, abusing guests, puking up, pissing in plant pots, sripping and being generally as one would expect those cretins to behave. Not massively unexpected behaviour but the hotel was in Heathrow, the abused guests were Americans stranded in the UK because the day before 911 happened and I think rumours were that they cheered the footage/took the piss but this has been subsequently denied. They got fined I think.

Also to try and avoid a MGW thread transgression again, I would like to sign OBrien!

I'd love for Everton to go down. Our mouthy Everton supporting neighbour can be unbearable at times.

I found Everton to be a lovely club to deal with when I did my tour of the grounds, but the neighbour has changed things.

Yeah this was it. I’m 3 years younger than Frank and when this happened I sat in my flat all evening listening to news and I remember being genuinely quite frightened what the fallout was going to be from 9/11.

Anyway each to their own. He’s managed, with the help of his media chums, to repaint himself now as some sort of respectable, modern, forward thinking coach. Quite like Everton but really hope he fucks them up.

I have to agree on Marsch. I know a lot of people here in the States wanted him to get the national team job over Berhalter but tbh I am glad he didn't. He really does play some uninspiring garbage.

Hope we can get this one over the line. Our midfield is light on numbers and quality and LOB would be an excellent addition.
Agree. He would fit in nicely and can play more than one position I believe. He is more than ready for the Prem so bring him on I say.

We need two quality midfielders IMO, and I'd be delighted if LOB is one of them. Easily Huddersfield's best player IMO, and is of a good age. Definitely a good fit for what we are building.

I'm not for a moment suggesting he's anywhere even remotely close to that level (as yet anyway) but, for me, O'Brien has echoes of the great Alan Ball in terms of his one/two-touch passing and energy.
