Really confused by this one- and would be even if we were still in the Champ.

The only thing that stands out is his name.
Have to agree, nothing about him even comes across as being Championship quality, let alone good enough to play in the Premier League. A truly bizarre signing if it happens, and probably another potential candidate for the zero appearances club.

Let's hope we don't pull this one off...

Had a look on Youtube for his obligatory highlights and they even made him look terrible :ROFLMAO: . I trust our recruitment team, but this one just feels like a bit of banter.

Comedy name aside, coming from Willem II worries me. Jimmy Quinn played for them, and not the below average Jimmy Quinn from Northern Ireland, the horrifically bad one. And he scored a few for them too, but ordinarily couldn't have hit a barn door.

The Dutch 2nd division also made Lars Veldwijk look like Cristiano Ronaldo in his prime too.

Other than Slimani, this bloke is probably the least inspiring player we've been linked with this summer. I trust our recruitment team but I am really struggling to understand the logic behind this one.

Even Nuno had a much better pedigree than this guy (and still does, considering his loan spells). As does Lyle Taylor.
I think its more about specifics than pedigree.
Clearly we just need someone to battle for long balls for those games where we're going to be trapped in our penalty area.

Seems a very odd link. Stats and attestations from Dutch fans on Twitter don’t scream this lad being PL ready.

You’d have thought if we were going to be signing a Eredivise striker to provide depth, it would have been Zian Flemming. Both because he has a far superior record, but also as we’d been interested before.

Looks an odd choice, but it did make me ponder on what people must have thought when Cloughie signed a carpet fitter from Long Eaton.

I bet that raised some eyebrows back in the day.
