I'd certainly be looking to set up with 4 at the back, Kouyate as an anchor man and then finding a way to get at least 3 of Freuler, MGW, O'Brien and Lingard ahead of them, those are the four players (alongside Lodi) who have legitimate Prem quality on the ball. We need to get them all on the same wavelength ASAP and the ball retention and chances will flow.

100% misagree about brennan and MGW looking miles better, and as for the bad locker room comment...haven't multiple players and Cooper spoken about wgat a positive it is having him in the locker room?
Tbh all our attacking players have seemed bad at times this season, doesn't help most the time they just get balls hoofed towards them amd they're expected ti make something of it

But we’ve conceded 21 and they all play in the same game. Kouyate doesn’t get the same grief for hauling down whoever for Maddison to stick in in from the free kick.
He’s certainly not playing well but he’s by no means as bad as people like to make out. Far too reactionary.

He's not even the worst signing this summer.
I'm not going to argue he's been good, he's obviously not been, yet. But he was a punt on a free, for one year. Considering how low risk it is, it's a long, long way being our worst signing when you consider some of the contracts we've given away the past decade.
