Didn't look completely match fit to me today but you could still see the quality he has.

He shouldn't need telling. His first thought should have been to get up and try and win the ball back instead of whining to the ref.
Unfortunately, in this day & age the majority of players would rather whinge to the ref than get on with getting the ball back. So sometimes they have to be reminded that getting the ball is the most important thing.

He does a lot of work off the ball, dragging defenders around to create space for others. Could do more when he has it, but he isn't fully fit and the understanding between the players isn't there yet.

Didn't look fully match fit to me, but can see some of his quality. Nice flicks, good movement and worked hard. He'll be important for us.

Shame he couldn't have tucked away the goal though, that would have been nice.

He'll come good.

I think he's relishing the senior statesman identity too.

Did anyone see him after the Johnson goal? He was pulling players into the group hug - was so good to see him being a team builder.

From his few touches you can tell he has quality, probably a little bit off the pace at the minute but once he’s fully fit and settled he will be a star for us.

I noticed at the final whistle Cooper went straight up to him to hug him while having a word.

He has been patchy in form throughout his career much like Grabban.

But when he hits that top gear he is unstoppable.

And? Their point is?

Ever since Jean-Marc Bosman did his thing, signing a player on a Free-Transer has always meant higher wages, because the player holds the cards, and the club - as it doesn‘t have to pay a transfer fee - can afford it.

I would be interested if the Sun, instead of being a pile of shite you wouldn‘t wipe your arse on if you We’re desperate, actually did some proper maths.

But, they won‘t of course.

I thought he played well today, ran him self into the ground and got stuck in when needed.

Coops will have him scoring before long.

Lingard was magnificent today. His passing was intuitive and intelligent.

He’s awesome and his influence on the game can not be underestimated.

Plenty more to come from JLingz.

Yeah thought the front three worked well together today including Lingz and will hopefully be causing teams like Bournemouth nightmares based on today.

Deserves a shout today. He looks match fit now, pressed really well & did everything quicker.

Him & Gibbs-White seemed to compliment each other really well just like at Everton.

They did compliment each other as they came off Morgan said to Jesse his shirt looked great and Jess said to Morgan that his boots matched his eyes.

Agree with the comments. Thought he looked very good today. Was always looking for the ball and then trying to make something happen.
Also, he seemed to be always talking to those around him. At one point I saw him talk to Johnson about playing a different type of ball instead of what he ended up doing.
That's the type of experience we need on this league.

Probably his best game for us today but I'm going to say it...I've been quite underwhelmed so far.

Could be fitness building up, could be getting used to new surroundings and a new system but he's had a very quiet, non-event of a start really. Compare that to MGW who came in for his full debut and looked like he'd played here years.
