Let's get behind him - i'd rather he went to us than any other NPC team. He's more likely to finish the chances we've managed to carve out - and must have done something different in training.
Fair enough. Six games without a goal, or particularly looking like getting one, I'd rather have a bloke who I remember actually tries to run at the defence and have a shot.
Is Grant Holt worth a look? Maybe Dawson too?
Harewood can score goals. We need a goal scorer. We have no money.
If a deal can be agreed, we have nothing to lose.

He must have been the only striker scoring at training.
Good news. Get rid of £15,000 a week (thankyou McClown) Miller who will be in the treatment room for most of his contract before we let him go on a free transfer.
Marlon will get goals is cheap and isn't crocked as much as Miller.

signed for tuppence a week....
All round I think our hat's gotta be off to whoever's sorted this. If we can ship Miller out for a decent price then we've dropped right on - similar level/type of player but for less money, a contract which expires end of season so the wage issue won't be a problem if we need to trim further, and because of his history here he might actually care a bit, put in and help lift the crowd.
We'll see, but it's better than having Miller spunk 15k/18k a week on bling and whores from the injury table whilst telling us to get of his useless back.
Spot on, what a god-awful decision to bring Miller here on that salary in very lean times especially in the football world.
Well done Schteve, you truly are a marvel at football management.
To me mate it's really obvious that McClaren didn't have one iota of a clue or plan - he really did just join up and sign whoever he could sign without any real forethought or planning.
Greening and Reid were linked with the club before he was here - the TAP, or whoever, saw them as "value" buys so offered him them, to which he simply said yes without any clue what we needed (central midfielders certainly weren't).
Boatwank is an old boys club signing similar to JFH - they're mates, Schteve could get them a job.
Derbyshire and Miller were simply labled as the type of players Schteve were after, but he's obviously not looked into anything about them before actually signing them.
Clueless.
You're train of thought is exactly the same as mine. That disastrous 10 weeks of SM's tenure will take years to put right and will probably lead to a period of time in the lower echelons of the Football League.
How could this have been allowed to happen? Staggering.
