Life size or bigger in proportion?
Not sure, but it’s half way inflated and this is what’s squeezed up against and staring out of me front winnders

We have already started to change approach as shown in January
Scarpa - Free to 5m
Mangala - 10m to a 10m loan fee and 15m buy option
Scott McKenna - Wages off the books
Horvath - Free - Undisclosed Fee rumour to be 900k
Aurier - Free - 100k fee and Wages gone
Worrall - Academy - 500k loan fee buy option of 4m, Worrall wants to stay there
Laryea sold for what we bought
George Shelvey - Dundalk which is a success for Forest's Academy
Dennis, Panzo, Hwang Ui Jo all leaving on loans

Squad size reduced to 23 over 21 and 4 Under 21

One more big sale and we will be in the clear.

Also in the summer

GK - Sels will stay, Turner and Vlach will be looking to leave, Hennessey is out of contract. New Keeper needed
RB - Williams stays, Ola Aina - Contract Option activated, Montiel Leaves
LB - Toffolo stays, Tavares loan would be extended imo, Richards comes back for Pre-Season
CB - Omobamidele, Niakhate stays, Boly contract extension, Murillo sold and Felipe Retires, Replacements needed
CM - Yates, Sangare, Dominguez, Danilo all stay. Kouyate leaves
CAM - Hoping MGW isn't sacrificed for PSR rules, Back-up needed
Wingers - CHO, Elanga will stay, Origi goes back, Competition needed
ST - Awoniyi could be a PSR sacrifice, Wood 1 year extension on reduced terms, Ribeiro Buy Option activated, New Striker needed
....went to sign a Championship level Akpom for £16m on last day, despite the then known FFP situation.

Sorry, but until the owner, his son and their cohorts reign that kind of wrecklessness in, then we're forever gonna be fighting an uphill battle.

That was only ever going to be paid in the summer, if we stayed up.

If we do stay up we will still probably need to buy another striker for at least £16m.

Just probably not that one.

and look at us now we potentially have no strikers fit, plus it was a loan with an option in the summer, so that would have been in next years account. Yes Marinakis deserves criticism for overspending, He's already identified 1 mistake and that was bringing Syrianos back in, who advised over transfers in January.

It depends entirely on the result of those actions. Someone has to stand up to the cartel at some point otherwise we're stuck with it for ever. If we break the rules and it makes us stronger as a club and we don't get relegated as a result then I'm absolutely fine with it.
Easy question - your answer is yes. No problem - but like this season we will not know the outcome until a year later.

I agree that clubs need to stand up to the cartel - my view is that the fourteen need to do this collectively rather than individually.

Its ironic that many fans of Forest and Everton are falling out over the points deductions whereas they ought to be standing together.

Sadly every club and its supporters are only concerned with their own situation.

Not easy to answer that really is it? I mean if it was the difference between relegation and survival then I assume most would say yes. In an ideal world no, of course not.

It a bit like asking: To those that condemn the actions of the board (or to most, Maranakis) would you rather have not breached and been relegated?

The replies would be morally impeccable of course :ROFLMAO:
Or if the points deduction takes us down would you rather have observed the rules and stayed up?

Akpom isn't good enough to fill that void though, but regardless it doesn't matter. We need a change of mentally and to stop panic/impuse buying.

Something which the Greeks haven't changed in all their years owning us, including this Jan just gone.

So they need to hand the reigns over to better people again.

Believe me, better that now than more cock-ups and the mass fanbase turning nasty towards them.

I see that MP's have written to the culture and sport secretary calling for calling for sanctions to be suspended until the independent regulator is in place. I'm not sure what good this will do as it's technically out of their remit.

Absolutely no good at all, because they have about as much influence as a wet fart, but at least they can say they have „been doing something(™)“ about it. That might appeal to some parts of the electorate.

Even though it will have little to no effect.

Come on ladies and gents. 4pts, it's a bit of a kick in the teeth but we have 9 games and one objective. Gain ONE more point than Luton. I couldn't care less if we stay up on GD or by a point.

Stay up, show the Premier League and everyone else that we're here to stay and keep building what could be a good young team. Starting with Palace.

Yeah, if it was the case that we had been strongly advised by the PL that a position was correct at some point in the process, only to be advised 3 weeks before account submission that the position was the exact opposite then that would be explosive stuff and grounds for appeal

Given the strength of the club statement, and that the above wasn't explicitly mentioned, I'm not sure it was the case.
I think this is the key point to the whole case really, and one I guess we might never know the real answer to.

Clearly within the football league the EFL rules allow for the promotion losses, now did someone at Forest just assume the same rules applied and didn't find out what the rules were under the EPL, or did the EPL move the goalposts right before the submission date.

One thing that we do have to consider for this is that earlier in this season the club got in a mess over the rules for the number of players it had out on loan, and at what age groups. If they can mess up simple admin like that, then you have to be concerned about their ability to deal with complex stuff like PSR.

You where the one advocating that the club needed to sign a striker on the level of Awonyi to fill the void while he was out injured or it was impossible for Cooper to do anything with the squad.

We seem to now have triggered Wolves fans because we mentioned them at the hearing.

I have raised a complaint with the BBC because of what their "journalist" said.

To save you the pain of reading further into it, they are kicking off because we said n the hearing that it is hard to sell players between the end of the season and the psr cut off but they managed to do it and sell Neves to not have psr issues.
