Final Table

Just had a cheeky go on the BBc Predictor here

Had us finishing 7th 3 points off Brighton in 6th. Bottom 3 were Wolves, Barnsley and Peterborough

Couldn't quite do it and I was pretty honest with the results. Had us drawing the crunch game at home with Brighton. Also seemed like I kept putting Wolves down for a defeat but they really are in freefall.

A ha!

Thanks for posting this.

I know what I'll be doing at work tomorrow morning!

Great to be doing it for a playoff chase rather than a relegation dog fight this year!

In fact, that Hull defeat I predicted was the only defeat in the remaining 12 games.

Would be a bloody good achievment, but just goes to show how difficult it could be.

Obviously not!

But come on, they're not that good a side are they? Poor support too.

I said the other day that there's always one team that goes like a train towards the end of the season, a la Blackpool, Reading before. I said it would be us this year.

Not according to my table though haha!

Would love to see Wolves go down too!

I always thought that we were better at competing against top teams with Billy than the bottom teams? We always used to make a good game in the league with Cardiff, QPR, Leicester and the like mostly drawing or winning those games.

I believe that will happen again we will take our A game to those who are above us

I've worked it out so that when we play Leicester at home on the final day, if we win its for a play-off spot and Leicester are denied automatic promotion, and if Leicester beat us they get automatic and we are denied a play-off spot. We'l' have to wait and see!

I'm pretty sure it won't take 76 points to make the playoffs this year. Everyone would have an awesome run in for that to be the case. It's so tight at the bottom, a lot more points have been shared around this year. Blackpool made it in with 70 points, 3 years ago.

Haven't got time to do the predicter but at the moment we're playing like a side that would finish in the top two if we weren't so far adrift. I can't see us not making those four points up. I think we'll probably get up to sixth very quickly and then stutter a bit as we always do when things go well for us.

We're not going to lose another game this season, winning 10 and drawing 2, plus we're going to hammer Cardiff at home and be (I think) the only side to do the double on them this year.

Then we're going to annihilate the team we play in the first leg of the playoffs, being 5-0 up at half time, before cruising through the final 3-0.

After we hammer Brighton their confidence will be destroyed and they won't even make the top 6.

It's true :congored:

I can't see anyone stopping Watford from claiming the second promotion slot.
Unless Cardiff have a bad run and Watford go up as Champions.
I desperately want to believe we can steamroller everyone in our remaining games, but despite the renaissance under Billy so far I can see for the March's games:
Draw at SWFC;
Draw home to Ipswich;
Draw, home to Wolves;
Lose away to Hull;
Win, Home to Brighton
6 points from 15... not enough to get us into a play-off slot...
