Nolan and Hardy must have a weekly meeting centred solely around which one of our players or former players they would like to go for next.
I don't have any particular love for Vaughan, I was just pointing out that a player who was doing a job at Championship level is a good signing for a League Two side
I suppose I'm questioning the "doing a job" given that our midfield was the greatest weakness while he was playing. I think whatever it was he had before he came to us he managed to lose through his numerous injuries. I'm sure he is a good pro etc etc but I will only look back at his time with us as a complete waste of (a lot of) money.
Yep. Age caught up with him but he was never a bad player for us.I think it became clear last season that he was no longer good enough for the Championship and was rightly dropped when we brought in better
I see they have let him go. Must be retiring now, surely?
Wonder whether he’s done his coaching badges? He does seem like the kind of character you’d want working with the kids.
