I’ve always thought Che Adams was decent although last season I don’t think I saw him at all. I’m not suggesting we should buy him but I don’t get the disgust at the thought of him.

Wouldn't be a transfer window without a Che Adam's link. Been on our radar forever - at some point we'll probably sign him but hopefully that time isn't now. Reasonable returns at our level and always linked with PL clubs, which must say something about his all round game. It's not an exciting link though, and wonder if that means the Leicester guy is off?

Nothing against the guy, but not for me - just think we can and need to do a lot better. However, I think we need to go shopping abroad again. Can not think of anyone from Championship that woudl not cost a stupid amount of money that could do a job for us

If SC rated him at all we’d have been all over Piroe by now but he’s not really ever been on our radar. The only other championship players worth mentioning are Keinan Davis or Josh Sargeant but you’d hope we’re looking at better options.

Make no mistake Ayew was Cooper. Everyone wants to believe he is a saint that can have the cooper effect on all signings but he was at the shit end of that deal no doubt

Well I think he’s better than Chris Wood. But yes I know, that’s hardly a compliment.

I could live with this, but only if it’s combined with getting a decent offsetting move, like them taking a player from us. Of that we’ve got a move for Chris Wood lined up.

Wasn’t Cook linked with a move to Southampton a while back ?

Signing Che Adams would be a classic case of just 'making a signing for the sake of making a signing'. He isn't the worst player in the world, but he wouldn't add anything of value to us (either as a challenger for Taiwo's starting place or as a game changer from the bench) other than just adding an extra body to the squad, and would probably cost an eight figure/high seven figure fee to boot.

It just doesn't make sense for us to target someone like him at all, and would be a huge waste of money.
