That scrape on his achilles which didn't break him has given him the confidence of a man on a bag of coke.

Finally starting to show his promise, was really happy with getting him especially at that price but he always looked poor. Now he's paying with confidence and scoring for fun.

Hope it continues

There were a couple of occasions this afternoon when I was willing him to hit the byeline, but his guile and the way he sees the pass inside is so effective.

He’s doing really well and it’s great to see.

A lot of credit has to go to both Nuno’s as well. Tavares bombing into the inside left channel takes their winger with him and leaves an ocean of space for the pass to CHO, so he’s getting on the ball more and is often in space.

Well done to big Nuno for working that tactic into our play!

If he stays fit he's gonna be some player.

An absolute BARGAIN!

Well played CHO. (y)

I think the replay will be good for him, in that it's another opportunity to build form/fitness... (As long as he can avoid that dirty twat #2)

Edit: probably also good for him to be playing without Elanga for a game or two as more will come his way.
Occurs to me that, although the replay wasn't good for him, in the month or so since I wrote this he's really kicked on with three goals and an assist in the last five games.

We are noticeably getting more out to him as well - before Elanga was injured everything went down his side, though v West Ham (without looking at stats) I'd say a lot more went down the left.

My hope is that he's falling in love with the club too - I imagine leaving Chelsea wouldn't have been easy and he probably saw us as a step backwards (that given his rise he wouldn't have expected to have to take). His celebration Saturday was pretty joyous though, and each goal/assist will do his confidence the world of good.

Love watching us play with that line of three behind Taiwo and the best thing is I think they're all going to get better. I don't think we've seen anything like Hudson Odoi's best, which is pretty mouthwatering when you consider his performance last weekend... Keep it up yoth!

Yeah, I've been critical of him, but even when I was getting frustrated at his lack of bravery and confidence, I could see how infrequently he gives the ball away. Now he's a lot more positive and progressive but still very tidy with the ball, very rarely wastes possession. Delighted for him and 3 in 3 will surely do him the world of good.

I'm just pleased that when replacing Cooper we bought someone else in who knows what he's capable of (which probably comes from Nuno's tracking of MGW through the England youth setup when he was his manager): rehabbing Hudson Odoi into the player we know he can be was always going to take time, and while I think we have plenty more to come, the last month or so represents a big step forward from where he was at on loan last year.

I think belonging will be a massive part of it too, and the more he loves playing for the club the more we'll get from him.

I hope he can get some good luck with injuries and keep improving- feel there is more to come yet...

That's something I'd noticed too. We're so used to wingers being the players who you accept will lose the ball, it's a massive bonus to have someone who can recognise when he won't get passed someone and instead of trying anyway just makes sure we retain the ball to go again.

Starting to come together. MGW has outlets left and right he’s starting to trust instead of trying to make it happen all on his own. CHO & Tavares starting to be more assertive on the ball instead of stopping dead and turning back. I’d expect over the next few weeks an improved understanding and link play between CHO & Taiwo too. You can see the trust and belief growing even in short time since Brentford away.

Is CHO Right footed? He is prone to Lolleyesque levels of predictability with that cut in on his right peg.

That said, he's been f***ing brilliant of late, good to see the lad enjoying himself in a Forest shirt.

I think we've established that if you are fouling this man and he's got a big grin on your face, you are in trouble lmao.
IF he can maintain this and his fitness, he's going to be continue to be a problem for defenders.

Good player but he's either naive or thick.

After not reacting to the Toney ball move, he allows Diaz to steal the ball off him today after the whistle blew to give the ball to their keeper.

Has to switch on.
