I think people are overly harsh on CHO, possibly because he's got Elanga on the other flank who's done so well returns wise and is generally more positive in his play, often at the expense of possession (though regularly with a return).

CHO did fine today: got a decent goal, put over a couple of nice crosses and linked well. Can't remember him giving the ball away and seemed to make decent choices in terms of when to attack his full back or cut back.

I just hope that he's ok after that rake and that it's a positive step forward for him in terms of being one he's gotten over quickly.

As he demonstrated again today, he has the guile and awareness to ensure that he doesn't have to rely on pace. He just needs to bring that always precious commodity of consistency to his game.

He's obviously not the same player he was at Chelsea having lost a yard of pace but he's a clever footballer who can link up really well with MGW.

I've never been one to get on his back myself, as I've always felt there is still a really good player in there somewhere. I think we've yet to see the best of him yet, he'll only continue to improve the more he gets used to playing regularly again and the more confidence he gets.
