[BUPA] Jadon Sancho

Whatever happens, remember that in Pogba and Sancho they’ll have wasted nearly £200 million potentially. Makes Dennis and Jonjo look better signings.

It's all relative.

Isn’t it reported he’s on around 350k p/w? United spent 70 odd m on him as well. How the hell are we going to appease both player and club?

I know it’s tongue in cheek but if you listen to commons interview about it I think the club fecked him over royaly. Than instead of clarifying anything the club stayed silent cause they didn’t want the bad publicity. I think commons deserves less stick for that. He wanted to stay but the club never offered him anything
If I recall correctly, Forest offered him a new contract after the previous season and he declined it. Then throughout his final season when asked about his contract Commons publicly said that he wouldn’t discuss a new contract with the club until he knew what division they would be playing in the following season. He wanted to play at a higher level than league one. The club was not promoted until the final day of the season with that game taking place on 03/05/08 & there are plenty of news reports from 07/05/08 onwards that state Forest had been negotiating a new contract with Commons and he’d gone off of on his post season holidays to think over the offer. A couple of weeks later he was unveiled as a Derby player. Marthur was a sod so it’s not hard to envisage him ballsing up negotiations or low balling him with a rubbish contract offer, but the notion kommons was desperate to stay and the club just ignored him completely doesn’t stand up.

In the years since, including the interview you mention, he has changed his tune but the only consistent thing about Commons has been much of what he says contradicts something he previously said or news that was widely reported at the time.

Obviously he knows better than anyone what actually happened but it’s impossible to believe anything he says. You rarely a genuine feeling of honesty from him. It always feels like he’s trying to look good in the eyes of the supporters of whatever club he is discussing at the time.

At this rate, United will have a new manager before Christmas and Sancho will be back there. After all, the manager has form for falling out with superstars, Ronaldo similarly was exiled out of United.

Sorry but you are mad if you would turn your nose up at somebody like Sancho in our position.
Nope. He's been at United over two years now and it's been shit almost all the time. This is a markedly different scenario than CHO and, quite frankly, from what I saw of CHO yesterday I think we need to commit to that player as a key member of our squad. If Sancho is smart he'll get out of England and away from your ruthless press, and get his shit together.

And 350K a week? Get real. For that money his sulking is even more pathetic. He's 23 years old. He needs to f***ing grow up.

A little tidbit from Sky Sport in Germany; Jadon Sancho is almost certain to leave Man United in January, most likely on loan, after his catastrophic falling-out with Man U manager, The Mekon Erik ten Hag.

Dortmund are apparently interested in him returning, but that is by no means a certainty.

Player wants the move to Dortmund in January, lets see how United manage to F*** this one up
Well they don't want the player and there is an obvious destination to a club the player already has a strong connection to...so Man Utd will probably demand double what they paid for Sancho plus the first born children of all Dortmund's board!

Yep and leave it so late that he joins Luton or Everton on a season long loan with Man u paying his entire wage plus Bill Kenrights pork pie bill.

Leaving Utd in January.

Juventus enquired about a loan, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Still wondering if he is worth bringing in for the rest of the season.

One thing with Sancho is he seems to lack a bit of pace, on one thing I always think about him is he looks unfit.

I just wonder if he'd be the best fit in our side

As long as we don’t have to cover all of his wages it’s worth a gamble if it’s remotely realistic.

You don’t go from being one of the best young players in the world to worthless so he obviously still has the ability to win games.

According to German sources, a return for Sancho to Dortmund, initially on loan, is looking rather likely.

Die Schwarzgelb will pay a loan fee, with United subsidising his hefty wages, as the relationship between the player and manager ten Hag has completely broken down.

Yeah no way Dortmund are going to pay the sort of inflated salary Utd have given him. I doubt anyone will match the £300k/week, crazy money.

He'll get loaned out constantly for the next few seasons and see out the contract.

If he does go back to Dortmund, I would not be surprised to see him loaned there for season 24/25 as well.

At least, until ten Hag is sacked.
