Brennan Price Johnson

Based on the two or three games I've seen Spurs play with Brennan in they seem to prefer to attack up the left wing limiting his chances of doing anything positive. Funnily enough when they took him off today they began to attack on their right wing more.

I think it's safe to say he just isn't that good.

He's lightning quick, but other than that he does nothing else at anywhere near an elite level.

We should be exceptionally pleased with the business of selling him and bringing in Elanga on 1/3 of the cost. I genuinely think Elanga is a better player (and he's a year younger).

Agree. Watched them a few times this season only because they’ve been on and part of me wants see how Brennan gets on. When it comes through Son he looks left and most their play comes down their left hand side. Johnson is a small fish in a very big pond but I think he’s good enough to be a top prem player.

Spurs fans are weird man, slating Brennan who was poor tonight but not finding room to criticise their "defence" who were atrocious.

They expect from him because he was £48m but they go on like he's taken a massive step up joining a team that struggled to finish in the top 8 last season, and this season who have lost their top goalscorer of all time and have decided that kamikaze football is the best way for them to try and succeed but its backfired a couple of times already.

They spent £58m on Ndombele and £60m on Richarlison, the first is about to be sent back from another loan because he has a junk food problem and the latter is a knobber who was born offside. Lord knows why they expect a big signing to succeed or for them to win anything.

We will wnd up this season with at least as many trophies as them.

Classy as ever from the 23/24 PL champions.

Where's that twat who came on here after they beat us giving it the big un, someone should ask him if he's ok still.

Brennan is really good at what he does but there isn't much more to his game which I suspected would be the issue joining a top 8 team.

I think we have got the better end of the deal, short term anyway. I agree with you I think Elanga is better, certainly more productive.

He's already done as well as a much more experienced Richarlison did last season in terms of stats and performance (from what I've seen).

Perhaps they need to give him a bit longer than 10 games to step up to a new level.

Tbf, could have been said by a Forest fan last season. Worse was said to Johnno Snr at an away game

I went back to last November and cherry picked this one (not having a go at the poster, it was the first that came to hand)

Such a poor, poor performance, I’m beginning to think that championship really is his level, he was so easy to mark and defend against today, couldn’t pick a pass, constantly hit the ball at his defender, lost the ball every time, yes a lot of the players had bad performances, but Brennan is just not there this season.

I don’t know how you can make any comparison with that Spurs comment. Nothing as vile has been said on here I’m sure.
