With our fans it wouldn't matter, we have some of the greatest ever scouts who watch us play each week, and they can tell you after 45 minutes of football if the player is going to make it in football.

Burnley were also in for him. This is a coup if it comes off.

That tweet says he only played 42 minutes for Espanyol. If that's correct then then their appraisal isn't worth the screen it's written on.....not when our supporters can write players off in an impressive 12 minutes.

Those 30 seconds or so of that clip at Espanyol is nightmareish, no doubts there. Looked like he was stripped of all confidence in that.

But then the other clip which shows several games moments, he's exactly what we need. Power, mobility, passing between the lines, breaking up play, a really rangey style.

Just have to see what he brings.

I'm optimistic about him though from what we know thus far.

Carvalho/Semedo/Yates/Silva/Yacob to fill 3 positions looks promising to me.

Although wouldn't be surprised to see Yacob go to Oly still.

Yuri Ribeiro would be wholly unexpected and exciting.

Not every player is like Dias. We dont know how he'll do, but it's still true that the opinions of the fans of a club who are way above our level arent especially relevant. If they thought he was good he wouldnt be here.
