I rarely write players off quickly when they are just getting chucked on with minutes left in garbage time (same Dias, Mir, Carayol etc etc etc the list goes on, there's not many McGugan sort of impact subs around) but as others have said, he's shown fairly poor ball control and intelligence in his brief appearances. He's just kind of done nothing at all really.

I'd be surprised if we signed him permantly but as with all the players previously, I'll support them whilst they are on the pitch playing for Forest, if they put in the effort.

No mate you're right, it's "over the season", so including time for Udders too.

But I don't know why anyone would discount that. It's still game time, and in the same league too.

An attacking player with 0 goals after over 13 full games under his belt isn't one I'd be overly-excited about signing. Especially at 24 when he should be exiting his development stage, and entering his peak.

But who knows, give Lamouchi a pre-season with him and he might totally spin the kid round, like a record baby.

I do agree with you on the points you make.
And I have seen nothing to make me think he will be an asset to us whether in the Championship or the Premiership.
The pace is the only thing he has going for him from what I have witnessed.
However, unlike Adama Traore (who also has blistering pace), Diakhaby doesn't seem to have anything else.
