Yes Burnley got brought back early but it was still a month after the season finished. Ours have come back 6 weeks after season finished.

Will be interesting to see if that makes any difference
It seems too long to me. Even from a concentration/focus point of view.

There is a reason why everybody comes back at around the same time, if there was genuine scientific reasons for coming back earlier more clubs would.

That’s great. I think players can go different directions after serious injuries. GB seemed to have a lot time to reflect, taken positives and learnt more about his body and now has a structure around pre and post exercise etc which could now mean potentially has longer injury free periods and an extended career. He seems a big character, I think was captain of his previous side, so let’s hope he has a great pre-season and gets himself in starting squad. Being ultra positive-Richards and GB can hopefully be like new signings.

Saw part one on Vital and part 5 here.

Good documentary, behind the scenes showing us how devastating injuries could be to top footballers and how hard they work to recover.

Also suggesting that players here are pretty good guys and have formed useful bonds. I could see Biancone being a revelation at RB.

It was like the injured players were their own little group and when one of them recovered to join up into the first team it galvanised the others and gave them hope there was a path back.

That's a relief.
It would have been so much worse if the cozy coterie of injured players was so close, none of them wanted to get better :)

With the other CD’s not exactly covering themselves in glory in pre-season and Felipe & Niakhate unavailable, I’m surprised we haven’t seen a bit more of this lad in the friendlies. I’ve seen him in some of the training videos, but maybe not quite ready yet or not done enough to prove himself to the boss.

He’s coming back off a significant lay off. He’ll be reintroduced slowly - but he has got the #2, which might suggest cooper plans to include him.

He matches the profile of a player Cooper would want - young, hungry, lots of talent

With him not having any minutes yet, I'm not expecting him in the 25 to be honest nor Richards.
Obviously that depends on what recruitment is like over the next 10 days.
Him and Richards need a Championship loan, at least until January. Get them playing week in week out and build their fitness up, then re-asses.

I think they could both prove to be good signings, it's just we don't have the games or squad space to risk starting them when their fitness isn't 100%

Don't think we'll ever see Biancone in a Forest shirt again personally.

Agree loan being best option - where that is might give us an indication of whether he has a future with us. If it's to a British club maybe, if back to France I this that's adiós.

I don't know why but I think he's got something.

If we have signed another RB I would loan him to the Champ til Christmas. Give him someone entirely for free (we still pay wages) so we have a choice of somewhere he'd immediately be first choice.

Then re-evaluate.
