Expensive mistake as well; not only will he have been paid off when sacked but working on a consultancy basis probably means he's charging a lot more than what his salary was when we actually employed him.Can EM finally let and allow his backroom team to do their job and not sack them after his perceived "failure".
It's getting ridiculous and makes us look stupid, let the team do their job and assess come May not 2 months after "a disastrous window" which turned out to be actually quite good!!!
Still, getting him back in hopefully provides a longer term lesson as you say, give people a bit of time.
