So what we're saying is effectively we're going to sign a pretty much whole new squad and then moan when they don't gel and we finish mid-table again. I personally don't think we need many changes. We just need to get the players who are injured more than others back to a level where they can consistently play regularly without getting injured. Of course if certain players want to leave and the price is right then we should allow them to.

I'd say we only need about 5 new signings... for depth more than anything. I mean its obvious we're missing a decent left back, decent defensive mid. And that we need back up at full back, a new GK and a new ST

I won't be moaning if we finish mid table I'd take that with the embargo lifted this time next year and push on from there.

Shouldn't the idea be to remove some of the big earners and replace with lower earners?

This season, every man and his dog will go on a mad spending spree as they can lose £39m over 3 years. This is £13m per season but a club can lose more than that in the first season so long as the total loss over 3 seasons is under £39m.

Any club that can spend, can spend big. This will put us and Blackburn at a massive disadvantage.
