Bet south yorks police are pleased this is played on a Friday night. Should be a belting game. Hopefully Wednesday nick a win but I reckon the dirty white shite will probably win. They will naturally get a penalty head start and Wednesday will probably be reduced to ten men too at some point.

The game is on a Friday, not Wednesday. If it was on Wednesday we'd already have missed it.
South Yorks Police have covered themselves in so much glory recently as well.
If I was Wednesday I'd have been two days too early. I'd also rename the ground and the Leppings Lane end and the Pie Shop.
Why call a pie shop 'Jimmys'?

I don't particularly care for either team, but I cannot stand Leeds and frankly wouldn't piss on them if I encountered them in the street, on fire.
And we once tonked Wednesday in spectacular fashion (7-1 or something) so, "Come on the Owls" I think is the right turn-of-phrase here.

That is why we need a panel to meet every week to review incidents like that and dish out retrospective punishments. Not only has Becchio deprived Wednesday of a goal scoring opportunity and being able to play v 10 men for the remainder of the game, but he also won't now be banned, so will be able to cheat against other teams.
Yet again youngsters watching this game will see that deliberate cheating pays dividends, as long as the ref doesn't see it.
Football really is a backward sport compared to others like rugby and cricket.

I wasn't blaming the ref for the deliberate cheating from Becchio. However, the ref does seem to be yet another of the clueless & spineless variety.
