Can you find a link? Like I said I don't know a lot about football banning orders but I was under the impression that the max sentence for breach was six months (Summary only offence, i.e. can only be dealt with in Mags Ct).

In this instance they didn't charge him with a breach, not sure why. Perhaps his previous order had expired. If memory serves he pleaded to the assault and going onto the pitch. Both happened as part of the same course of offending so sentences would be concurrent, max sentence was given for the assault (6 months minus a third for guilty plea at first opportunity = 4m) so that was the absolute worst that they could give him.

No link, it was in the paper. Cheers for that though Chap it's good to get an understanding of how these things work, however.........
