Where's me hammer?
Haaland is essentially Drago, power, pace finish only thing that's gonna stop him ripping up the big league is injury.

He’s actually quite unselfish as well. I saw him do it loads of times for Dortmund where, if a team mate had an easier chance to score, he would square it to them to tap in.
He got a decent number of assists for BVB by doing exactly that.

He is great at bringing others in to play.

Just watching the villa v Everton game and you can see how we'll be more than competitive in a lot of games this season.

Opening against Newcastle last week has given some fans the jitters about how the season will pan out, but they really were excellent and you can see a huge difference in the way they pressed with huge energy compared to watching the way villa and Everton play.

That and the new incoming signings, I think we have every chance of doing ok, and I'm a proper pessimistic at the best of times

I think people will realise a few things in the coming weeks:

- Newcastle were very good
- We did the basics very poorly

The basics won't stay very poor for very long. We will compete. For all the grumbling we still defended very well & it took two very good goals.

Lampard is stealing a career in the top flight. Failed to get Derby up despite a wheelbarrow full of cash and the Chelsea loans. Then somehow failed at Chelsea with a top 3 squad. Now failing at Everton.

Must be up there as one of the favs to get the first axe.

And killed every club in the process

Taking after his Uncle Harry.

Lampard as a manager reminds me of Warburton. The thought of him and his idea is okay, but the reality is he rarely improves a side very much.

Excellent driving run from Onana shrugging off his man for Everton’s goal. Once he settles and gets match-fit he’ll be a big signing for them. Shame we couldn’t get him, but at that fee it was right for us to look elsewhere at this current point

Anyone watching Brighton and Newcastle? Newcastle lucky to be level after the first 40, look a completely different team to the one we saw. Brighton making them look sluggish and vulnerable

I think Arsenal will have a big season too. Jesus and Zinchenko were great signings. Saliba coming back from his loan looks like a superb defender.

They look a different team aswell so far.
I agree

I thought last season down was the only way, but they have recruited really really well.

I can't see a top 4 past Arsenal, Spurs, Man City & Liverpool. I dunno why City sold them Jesus & Zinchenko to be honest. They are building a top top side.
