Who do you think the sexiest PM we've ever had is?

Options below

1. Maggie T (my choice by a country mile)
2. Theresa May
3. Liz Truss
4. Ted Heath

Mods, can we get a poll on this please
Well Maggie was the most masculine PM we've ever had, so I'm not surprised by your choice.

Looking ahead, with the new East Midlands Mayor coming in over the summer, there is likely to be a greater focus on the 'greater good', i.e. what infrastructure can be built to give economic benefit to more people. If the investment comes from a wealthy Greek person, or wherever, isn't really the issue. I am hopeful that the move away from the dreadfully parochial and adversarial system of local democracy (I use that term loosely) that has hampered Nottingham (and Derby) for decades will ultimately see progressive thinking come to the for. Local Government officers, like central gov folks, tend to be "yes, but" rather than "and yes ...". Fingers crossed.

For the record, Nottm City have made some daft decisions and some good ones. the same applies to the County Council, Rushcliffe, Gedling, Broxtowe, Ashfield, Mansfield, Newark, erewash, Amber Valley, Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council and more. Celebrate the good, criticise the bad but remember "and yes", remember that Conservative with a capital C is not the same as conservative with a small c, and remember that this present Government has consistently demonstrated political motives that are intolerant of opposing viewpoints and are all about raking off benefits for themselves.

Three points this afternoon will do nicely thank you.

About having extended the lease.

It's manifestly obvious that in the period between both parties announcing "an agreement" in 2019 and the actual contract signing date, probably several months later, the council decided the amount of rent it wished to charge was insufficient at £250k and therefore demanded £1m per annum, which of course was its prerogative as the freeholder; just as it was also Forest's prerogative to refuse to meet that late demand.

I should ask why are you pursuaded that any blame for this lies solely with the club and not with the City Council for trying to change the terms at the 11th hour?

About having extended the lease.

The chairman said in his latest interview that an agreement had been reached a while back. He said something had changed recently. I've asked 'point scoring' Ben Bradley what has changed, especially as government advisors are now in place. I'm not sure I'll get the factual response I want.

Honestly for me it seems a few sides aren't coming accross in a good light.

The club for making threats about taking our ball and playing somewhere else. (Which we won't). It seems also a bit of a dead cat imho too, weve got a huge huge end of next week where its becoming a bit more apparent that we are essentially waiting to see how hard a shafting we take and in truth its probably likely as in Evertons case that when our mitigations get published we will be ridiculed off the back of them by the football world. The stadium story focuses our mind elsewhere.

The council for potentially amending agreements or not but not being fully clear in what it will take to get spades in the ground. I also think that its no coincidence that we had a random SAG "Standing" warning when this stuff kicked off and won't be surprised if the stadium capacity gets reduced because we haven't been able to get Man U, Liverpool or parts of our own fans to stay seated as a bit of a knobby manoeuvre to show who is in charge.

I think the local MPs are getting on board with no real ambition but to essentially ridicule the city council for struggling to cope with swinging cuts suffered over years. I again don't think its going to be long before one of the tits raises their profile at pmqs to bring attention to the subject when again reality is that most if not all of them are not getting reelected and will do nothing about it anyway.

All in all I think we are treading a thin line between trying to make progress and coming across like Jim Ratcliffe, the grown ups need to talk and sort it out.

There is room for everyone to win.

Because it says the lease has been granted/ delighted to have secured our lease for a further 250 years etc etc not plans are in place/ agreement made/will likely be sometime in the future.

Anyone reading that article would have been lead to believe it's a done deal, signed and sealed.

Two different councils I think? City own the lease while Rushcliffe responsible for safety. Not 100% sure though.

Ironically there's one of those pretentious cafes there called bread and lard which serves things like poached egg and avocado but because it's on Focaccia bread and has some parsley it's about £12

@Project Zeus be like "worth every penny of that £12"
