Very easy for the council to call the club's bluff on that, mind. The new stadium planning process alone is a years-long money pit; even with Marinakis' deep pockets it simply isn't viable to build a new ground.

Surely there is one down the a52 that’ll be empty ?
Can’t we do a London Bridge and just buy it and bring it over ?

Just buy it to leave them homeless. Only £20M apparently. Worth it, surely?

EM should tell Rushcliffe Council to either play ball or risk losing the club out of their Borough completely.

I think rather than ultimatums they need to sit down with them and point that this needs to be resolved. If they are of a mind to refuse it then do so which would then allow Forest to appeal to central government.
The businesses in WB get loads of footfall becase of the football and cricket crowds.

If Notts get relegated, the City Council are within their rights to evict them. Build a 50k stadium there and be done with Rushcliffe council.

What sort of improvements does the CG have to comply with for the PL? New sponsor boards, VAR fully installed. Anything else?

I think most of the above suggestions were already allowed for with the stadium expansion plans but that’s clearly still not passed all the necessary planning permission criteria which is such a shame.

In the short term, we’re definitely going to need greater capacity and facilities for the media requirements but we’ll just have to incorporate into the current space.

There’ll also be a greater demand for hospitality I expect.

Can’t do much else regarding capacity for tickets right now but there are rules regarding how many tickets we allocate to away fans so safe segregation and access will have to allowed for. And tighter ticket controls / security at the turnstiles for when we play Liverpool. 😳

When we play Liverpool we should sub-cobtract the security to the French police

We will need massively improved media facilities, wouldn't suprise me if we end up losing some seats to facilitate it

The Championship is just local broadcasters with the odd national now and then. Premier League is the national broadcasters from every single country. Press conferences alone will have hundreds of people wanting to attend.

The Peter Taylor stand will become an even bigger issue than it already is

We'll definite lose seats.

We're required to provide 200 spaces for media.

Bur here's the rub, we don't have any alter alternative facilities in any of the other stands.

So, planning application aside, there will be no work on the Peter Taylor and its replacement while we're in the Premier Leauge.
