It's all about mid-table...
Really enjoyed the game. Terrific.

The seasiders are some formidable team at home and Forest did great to come away with the win. They'd have given ManCheat City or Liverscum a real good go last night.

You wouldn't know they were from the 3rd division, looked evenly matched. They must get promoted this season.

Well done Reds, onwards and CUPWARDS !

The only positive I'm taking from that is that it's over and there is a lot less likelihood we draw them again in the cups three years on the spin.
We played some nice stuff at times but we've taken 230 minutes of football to beat a team that isn't even in the League One Playoffs, playing more or less our strongest team.
I didn't watch your game (we were playing a cup game of our own at the same time, and got disqualified at the penalties -with Carvalho missing a crucial one- in one of the worst matches between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos as long as I remember), but one should not underestimate player mentality in games such as against Blackpool. Players know they are better and they have the better team, so a degree of complacency is always there. And football has become so physical that not giving 100% makes a difference, even against teams of a lower league.

That Critchley is a mardy little so and so isn't he? Moaning again. Glad we knocked them out and I hope Yates was offside you vile little tw@t.
I’ve re-watched the goal from every angle and have come to the conclusion that Critchley can go f*** himself.

I had some Brazilian colleagues over to see me, just before Christmas, and they had never seen snow in real life before.

They were fascinated when it snowed in Stuttgart, and insisted on standing outside in it for a bit.

We certainly made hard work of that. It was like trying to walk uphill in wellies full of jelly.

Credit to Blackpool for giving us a game. We should have been way out of sight had it not been for our defensive blunders, our shocking goal keeping, our inability to find the target and our lack of cohesion as a team.

It really struck home how important MG-W is within our game although Yates never disappoints with his total work ethic. A worthy MotM.

Lovely to see Omobamidele on the starting and score sheet and Aguilera was like a breath of fresh air. I look forward to watching this gem develop into great player.

Really glad the fixture is done with now. A winning mentality is needed to battle against our off the field antics and, despite the break, we have nicks and knocks to treat before Brentford.

Anyway, 2 weeks, we’ll be fine. 👍👍

Turner smiling like a man who knows he's now first choice for the rest of the season.

I hope you're right about Turner, i.e. I hope Nuno agrees with us all.

Some criticism of our performance against a League One side - fair enough - but they hadn't lost there since November had they? That tells you something even if there are two divisions between us.

We’d have been out of sight had it not been for us not being able to do a lot of the fundamentals of football?

Did anyone miss VAR, I didn't realise how much it has changed the game. not for the better.
I’d forgotten what it was like, it genuinely felt better. I’ve always been an advocate for Var but this has made me reevaluate. They should go back to the the drawing board and just intervene for absolute howlers. All the marginal calls and mm offsides should be binned. It does help though if the officials have a good game and I think they did.

Moment of the match for me was Yatesy getting out-Yatesyed with a few minutes left when the defender went down from the waft of Yatesy's shirt. Ryan saw the funny side as he jogged away, and even the ref smiled.

Aso, Dembele being described by the commentator as 'a box of tricks'. More like a bag o' pricks.

Yep, he looks a miserable little f***er. Thought his claim the sides were evenly matched was a bit of a strecth to be honest. They had a few moments but we looked far superior.

Loving what Nunos doing with us offensively, miles quicker in the transition.

You can’t just have VAR for clear and obvious errors.
Knowing VAR is there emasculates the on field officials.
It is a case of having the game run by VAR, or not having VAR at all.
The Game’s Administrators point out the “pro’s” of having VAR, but have turned a blind eye to the “con’s”.
And it is the “cons” that far outweigh the “pro’s” both numerically and when weighed for importance.
But TV companies have dictated the agenda.
First they ruin the beautiful game with money, then they burn the corpse with VAR.

Morgan scored his goal from on the 18 yard line. Papers next day 'Morgan hits 25 yard screamer'.

If he can't tell the difference between one team that has twice as much possession and twice as many shots as the other then he needs to book in at the opticians. The mardy twat.
