Is there any turd polish left in the tin or has it all been used?
Come on FCT.
Are you a snowflake millennial who doesn’t appreciate a real game of proper football?
Or have you lost the plot being an entitled prawn sandwich eating Prem Team fair weather supporter.
It was physical.
There was passion.
Skill and blood and guts.
And the on field officials were excellent as they weren’t castrated by VAR.
We won… celebrate.

Really disappointed with CHO, I so badly want it to work out for him.

Yates carried the team tonight but Mangala was also good. I just hope Nuno looks at that performance and realises he needs to stick around.

There were some other really bad individual outfield performances tonight but in the context of it being Blackpool away with shards of ice in the side of the pitch, you can let it slide.
Not Vlach though he is simply just shit, there is no other way to put it. Not even the fact that he can’t make a save, it’s his positional awareness, decision making, box control, the BASICS, he is terrible at all of it.
Turner is our number 1 and kicking aside he is actually pretty solid.

Maybe we went this the harder way than we should've, but a win's a win and I'm glad!

Great job to Yates, Wood, Danilo, Dominguez, Mangala, everyone who helped this victory!!
Can't wait to see Aguilera get more chance, he looks pretty good!

And finally it's good to hear the crowd is okay, I hope no one's hurt...
Similar to in the Man Utd game, Danilo was dross in the first half but vastly improved in the second half. I was really pleased to see Aguilera get his opportunity and take it so well. He was very good in pre season games and has had some great performances with the under 23s. Also glad to see Mangala put in such a strong performance throughout the whole game.

I know there's gonna be pelters for the performance but I knew it would be that type of game due to the pitch. Honestly it's just not conducive to playing football when it's rock hard like that. That's why the FA cup has shocks, those pitches are favourable to lower league opposition - mix it up, press, be aggressive and throw balls into the box.

You've just got to match it and get through the tie.
Aye, proper FA Cup tie that was and credit to Blackpool.

VAR-less games are an absolute joy it has to be said. Really proper celebrated the winner once i seen that Woodie had an old school glance over at the linesman as he was celebrating.

You really do wonder what the hell they've managed to do to the game
In all fairness you can point the finger of blame at the clubs who wanted VAR… not the refs. The managers association needs to understand the value lost with VAR. it’s now binary, exactly what they wanted over free flowing football. The ref did alright tonight overall

Good shout on Danilo he really improved after a sloppy first half, hopefully we'll see more of the machine gun because i forgot how good it was

Exactly. Loads of credit to Blackpool, their supporters can rightly be proud of their sides efforts.

I'm not that concerned about us tonight, we controlled the first half, went 2 up and the pitch played a massive part in levelling things out as Blackpool mounted a comeback by pressing and being aggressive. I was a hell of a lot more pissed off with our first half performance in the first tie

We won think we showed spirit, the best thing was the final whistle though as it signified the end.

Our goals were decent enough, I did feel that Murillo was held then pushed down for their equaliser but their first was a good strike.

Ultimately we played a couple of centrebacks who could have started for our u21s and they did OK. We struggled against the industrial football and a ref who in my opinion was a bit one eyed.

Yates impressed me with football ability on that plowed field, thought Aguilera looked good as did Tavares for the most part.

Thank the lord its over though and we go into the next round so that Sam Twattyface can bemoan our FA Cup record from the last 10 years again like a quarter final is crap as a championship team which we have been for the 9/10 last seasons who somehow seems to draw Chelsea. Every. Bloody. Year.

The ref and the linesmen were ace.
You can pick the odd mistake but none sucked the joy out of the game like every VAR intervention does.
