When my mood gets low I always lift myself by watching scenes from classic films.
Great show and far less corruption and bullshit than the premier leagueAt this point in time I'm working on the logic that we are all living in a massive vault, number 1865, and VAR is a Vault Tec experiment. Either that, or I'm watching far too many back to back episodes of Fallout?
A good summary.Mood is like most Forest fans; one of frustration and edging towards hopelessness.
Relegation scenario; I still think we need to win 2 out of last 3 games to be safe and I can't see that happening. I'm more banking on Luton being completely and utterly spent and not winning any more games.
Manager situation; As much I love Steve Cooper, he was struggling towards the end of his tenure. However, I don't believe we sacked him to be in the situation we find ourselves in. Nuno was meant to be the man to take us to mid-table. I don't really feel too much anger towards him, it's more a feeling of apathy. I feel that he's apathetic towards the club, so I return that feeling towards him.
Issue with referees; We've been incredibly hard done by with decisions, however Wolves have been screwed over several times, yet they seemed to have pulled together with a positive attitude. I'm 50/50 on the tweet directed towards VAR and the Premier League. I can fully understand the frustration, but I don't think its a good idea to make such a direct claim of corruption. We seem to be consumed by it and the concentration following yesterdays result should have been on the performance, not just the penalty decisions.
Season Card Debacle; mishandled from start to finish, a complete mess that could have been avoided with better communication. Understand the need to increase prices, but they've gone too fast and too high and changing the age categories was unforgivable. The prices would be extortionate at Championship level, which is looking more likely with every game.
General feeling; Played terrible yesterday and we don't have any players who want to fight for the club, with Yates the only one from the promotion team, I can't help but feel we've lost the passion. At the start of the season some fans blamed Worrall, then moved on to Cooper, then finally on to Yates. Yesterday was arguably one of the worst performances of the season and you can't blame the usual scapegoats. I don't see any fight in this team.
Sadness about football; Can't help but feel that football is not enjoyable. VAR has completely taken the enjoyment from the game. Summed up by that disallowed Coventry goal; I always said if we're giving big toes and kneecaps offside, it's not something I want to watch. The game was not designed to be this scientific, football is an art. The scrapping of FA Cup replay is just another nail in the coffin.
So, that's my thoughts. Hope gradually fading but still believing that somehow we can do it.
That’s as good as it can get for clubs like Palace and Forest given the way the game isYeah, bit of a shitshow to put it mildly.
Clutching at straws at least relegation would offer a different challenge, and I might be able to sit with my other half once in a while? While staying up would offer…. err …. more of the same?
Fan fact: Crystal Palace need just four points this season to make it ELEVEN seasons in a row where they have finished with forty-something points in a Premier League season. Something to aim for?? I can’t imagine how exciting it must be for them.
Everything has to be about bloody Germany with you... Why not buy a nice pair of Gola's...I have decided to cheer myself up by going trainer-shopping on the Adidas website.
Fancy a new pair of one of the „Originals“, which are very much my thing.
Very nice, but not quite on par with Adidas 4-stripes from Bulwell market. Now there's a proper trainer.I have decided to cheer myself up by going trainer-shopping on the Adidas website.

It's like the big bloke threatening to beat you up.We’ve been poking the wasp nest all season but now we’ve whacked it off the branch.
I can’t see anything other than us being stung…..and badly.
I'm sorry MASE, did you not get the memo that sacking Cooper and ignoring the screw ups further up the club's hierarchy, was the answer to all our issues? My apathy towards Forest & this relegation fight has reached fever pitch. I remain genuinely stunned at the performance yesterday & how that constitutes fighting spirit, given our predicament.
In my own head, we have an owner who's f**ked up everything since our arrival to the big league, a manager who inspires absolutely nobody, players who lack passion & the necessary quality to get results in this league & the club an overall PR disaster.
We stay up only on the premise other clubs are shitter than us. I cant see it personally.
All the togetherness has been lost post Cooper, I miss those days like you wouldnt believe.
Happy Monday folks.
As someone allergic to wasp stings I'm keeping well away from the fallen wasp nest. We’ve been poking the wasp nest all season but now we’ve whacked it off the branch.

You didn't get the E mail explainiing we will not go down because there are so many teams far worse than us.Ultimately these guys don't look up for the fight and the constant blaming of the referees and VAR is creating the mental cushion of a victim mentality.
VAR didn't lose us any points vs Wolves, Palace, Luton and countless other games. Being mental midgets did.
We flatter to deceive so much, the player of the last 2 months hasn't got a goal or an assist, cannot put in a decent cross to save his life, he's all huff and puff with no end product. CHO is a one trick pony of cutting inside and curling a shot. Wood has lost all his powers after hitting the post at Spurs, Awoniyi is a biscuit who spends more time on the treatment table. MGW wants to do the flashy flicks and tricks rather than take an extra touch and increase his chances of finding that killer pass. Elanga hasn't had one decent game since the injury. Origi, I wouldn't even waste my breath on him.
I thought that one thing that Nuno would bring is steel in defence and make the team hard to beat, instead we ship a goal a game without any fuss.
We are sleep walking into relegation, hope they realise that and pull their socks up pronto, muster some inner steal as supposed to further incubate any corruption related self fulfilling prophesies.
