In true Forest style he'll probably go there and get them promoted. while we have another season ending in mid-table obscurity watching Sammy Ameobi flounder about..

No one ever does.

So glad the culture & mentality which we have now wasn't around to ruin Clough & Taylor

Whilst the internet has certainly facilitated the mass moaning culture, back in the pre-Prem days there was always the possibility that at the start of the season your club could win a trophy (even if in Div2) or get a Euro place.

That dream was always still alive even after Xmas for most clubs. We know already even before a ball is kicked in the 19/20 season, that our chances of going to Wembley for a final or playoff are virtually non-existent. We just have to except that and hope that at least we make the playoffs.

I wouldn't have expected Martin to use that type of offensive language on the BBC.

Of course he didn’t. He said getting sacked in a short period of time is no surprise and it’s part of the game now.

What ever his shortcomings are as a manager in 2019 football, and I'm not saying he even has any, he has far more class than both his supporters and critics on here.
Top man.

What does having "more class" actually mean in that context?

In fact, I'd argue that the majority of Martin's supporters and critics on here were more than respectful, without having the opportunity to demonstrate it on national radio.

You're right. The majority were.
Me showing my lack of class  ;)

I suppose I was getting at the cheap jibes to make a point, manager v manager etc etc ad infinitum
