After slating him 3 weeks ago the boy has gone on strength to strength. I still reserve judgement though. I will only admit he is a top player when he does this consistently week on week. But he does look like he's starting to become consistent.

Purple patch for him, needs to work on that celebration though.

He could pull down his shorts and curl a fat one out in the penalty area for all I care as long as he's scoring!

I hope the "work on that celebration" is ironic.
It riles me to see goal scorers doing all sorts of fancy dances.
The only really good celebration was Earnie... all the rest are pants.

Yes, a good goal celebration is where somebody just goes mental. Contrived celebrations are generally horrible.

I do agree about contrived celebrations (apart from that Fish one, which is amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QieyCqOVb-M), but Lansbury does look a bit of a wally when he celebrates - not that it matters. I always liked Stans gun celebration but that was widely mocked too.

For celebrations, Henri will have to go some to top Dexter's exuberant celebration after scoring against Bristol City at the CG in 2009.

Just seen Lansbury take a nasty whack from the goalkeeper 90 seconds into the England U21 game tonight.

Thought he might have broken his leg at first but luckily reports from the England bench say its just a knock to the shin (bruising)

Heart attack averted.

It is worrying how he went off when the challenge wasn't even bad, just a collision.

Oh bollocks. Lets hope it's precautionary.

He's come into such good form of late too.

Sounds like its not too bad. He was treated for a long time by the pitch though.

They've said it's just bruising on the shin, so hopefully that is indeed the case.

I was shitting my pants at first too.

I've called the Apache attack on Psycho's house off. For now.

You'd need more than an Apache to take out "Psycho".

It's a joke he's even involved. He's 23 this year. I know the rules on being a certain age at the start of the season, stupid rule though.

Ignoring his injury, Pearce is useless in that role. It's about development of player's that may have a chance of becoming a full international, he's all about solely winning games, which should be secondary at that level. He might be a club legend, but he's not very good at his job.

Cany believe they let 23 years olds play at the start of the season he was 22 so still not young enough its a joke
