I was very excited when he signed and even with his troubles at the start of the season I knew he was class and now Billy is getting the best out of him so glad to have Adlene Maewski and Lansbury in one midfield no one can accuse of being a dull team.

Some of our midfield play today was excellent. The new "diamond" formation seems to suit, and has the fluidity for the four to move around as they need.

Lansbury is thriving under this manager and team. He's showing what real class he has, and I'm delighted for him.

New he was quality and that he would come good. Trick will be to keep him tied down to a long term contract for years to come as he could be a Forest legend pretty quickly.

You should gloat because weasel's post was a joke.

Anyone who couldn't see Lansbury was a quality signing knows nothing about the game. If you can't be patient whilst a quality player is getting match fit then you don't deserve to be watching that player.

On the right of the diamond he does a lot of running to support Jara when the opposition attack, so I think he has to pick his moments. He is best through the middle, but he's doing a fine job where he is right now.

He's really hit his stride the past few weeks. Obviously today was his biggest match so far, in terms of direct impact. And a guy who should slot into the Prem with little adjustment.
