The demise of Leicester

There's an obsession in some people who talk about "not rivals" Leicester. Multiple threads about them now. They've done something Nottingham Forest will never do, they've won the Premier League.

Nobody thought Leicester would win the league.

Except those jammy sods who put bets on for a laugh.

Any Foxes fan reading this must be pissing themselves laughing.

Won the Premier League, going to play in the Champions League next year and we're predicting their doom next year because their players are being targeted by top clubs?

Thread title's a tongue-in-cheek meme, innit?

Aw he's not too bright, bless him.
Someone's told our Leicester fan at work that English clubs have been kicked out of the champions league and he's fell for it and gone off on one.

Done well to keep hold of Vardy. Especially now he's truly made it having flopped with England

Come on FB, Vardy proved himself without a doubt last season...it was that absolute wa_nker Hodgson having balls lumped up to him standing on the penalty spot. Vardy never was and never will be a big bustling Centre Forward. Play to his strengths, stand on the shoulder of the last defender and send balls over the top or hard to feet. Even my 12-year old knows that:(

It's all about mid-table...
I'm seriously starting to think that Leicester will win the First division again, in the region of 14 clear points.

Especially if they put some effort in.

They just added a tasty couple of players this past week - if they keep the original squad together, they will be a force to be reckoned with this season...

Is it just my imagination or are Leicester being a bit busy in the transfer market?

They have midweek Champions League Group games to contend with next season, and so a bigger squad is needed.

Vardy can't be faulted for England's failure, Roy Hodgson is the only man that would take one of the most clinical finishers in English football and play him on the wing.

He made a very good decision in staying with Leicester and signing that new contract, because now he has 4 years of stability in his new contract, but he can stay in his comfort zone, as moving to Arsenal would have been a big risk to take.

As long as signings don't rock the boat, people's nose put out of joint by being replaced etc

Mahrez will be the next one to leave.

Big questions for them - can they replace the players that they lose, or will they just slip back into mid-table mediocrity.

Where's me hammer?
Said it already, they will not make top 6..... Id be surprised if its top 10 as well..... You need city, united, Chelsea, arsenal, Liverpool, spurs to have shit seasons again.... Aint gonna happen.

"The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down," said Kante.

 f*** all to do with money then??

"So, N'golo Kante, what was the multimillion pound reasons that attracted you to Chelsea in the first place?"

To be fair, he's far more likely to add more medals to what he won last year at Chelsea than Leicester, but I'm sure the money is a nice bonus on top.
