The Chris Cohen Appreciation Thread

No wonder my post count..
Just because there isn't one. And there should be.

I thought people's eagerness to cup his balls was a massive sign of their appreciation. On a serious note, praying hard that this is a minor injury

This is why I want a dislike button. There is already a ball cupping thread. Is that not enough!?! It's your fault he's injured again

The cupping balls thread has gone a bit sombre since Sunday. We need to keep this one positive and upbeat :)

He will be back on the field i'm sure of it...its not uncommon to suffer multiple acl tears and continue a professional athletic career ..American football players and basketball players over here often have multiples (3 and 4 on the same knee)and come back strong as ever. If anyone can come back again its Chris Cohen..

If it seems his playing days are numbered, I think the club should let him work his way through his coaching certificates to give him e a chance of moving into managerial position sooner or later. They let Greening do this and Cohen deserves all support he can be given. BTW, does anyone know where Greening is these days??

We wont hear anything on Cohen until the swelling has gone down and he has his scan. But from his response and the players speaking out on about how bad they feel for him, it seems very, very likely it's his ACL again.

As for Reid, he had issues with his groin earlier in the season, so hopefully we'll let him get over it.

I genuinely think Tesche and Vaughan could be a very good partnership in a 4-4-2.

Hartlepool boss Colin Cooper revealed: “Jonathan had two days with us and decided to retire from football."

f***ing hell, Coops, what sort of operation are you running up there?

Yeh I saw that... Probably not the greatest advert for his team.

Sadly, he's having a tough time up there, a lot of fans are disgruntled with him, although his hands are tied financially.

If the worst happened, i'd happily have him here as a coach.

Forest skipper Chris Cohen is having a scan on his knee this afternoon #nffc (put this in the ball cupping one as well)

You could read it another way: that aging ex-premiership players can't keep up with Coop's fitness regime ?
