Can you also imagine, that if the AI was scouring the internet for Forest-related content, what on earth it would make of the many bizarre Forest-themed pictures on this very forum, especially those enhanced with a comedy cartoon spunking cock-and-balls?The chart highlights a significant issue with AI.
What it’s doing is using a combination of past and recent history (from the web), chewing it over through it’s algorithms and this is the result. But the result adds to the problem.
Let’s say, after seeing this, we decide to run it again. This time the AI will follow the same process, except, the previous effort now becomes part of the data set prior to the calculation. The issue is that the previous effort will have an influence, very small, perhaps less than a thousand of a thousand of a percent in influence terms, but it’s there, and factored in nonetheless.
So now, we run it a third time, the original data set is part of the calculation but now so is the second - ever so slightly biased - version. This means the third version is ever so slightly more biased towards the original version than the second as it factors in the bias.
Doesn’t sound like a huge issue but when the same algorithm is used hundreds/thousands/millions of times that bias keeps growing in influence. In theory you get to an end point where the result is the same every time due to the information sourced, which ironically, in this example, is now 99.9% AI generated.
”So what?” you might say. Which is fair enough given the subject material. However, the above is already a huge issue, even without AI. Social media posts going viral follow a similar path. The difference is the speed at which this happens is hugely accelerated by AI and is applied to far less benign subjects than predicting football matches.
f***ing Skynet. What a wanker.

I’d like to see the impact of that data-set, I can tell you.
Squirrels Strummer, thousands of squirrels.
Aye... very rare anywhere now days Strum, well spotted. On my journey to the office this morning, at the end of my street I spied a rare Red Squirrel hiding up a tree:

You do not see many of them about in Stuttgart, that I can tell you.
Kin, hell strum. Spotters badge for seeing that, fancy a crack in CM at the weekend? On my journey to the office this morning, at the end of my street I spied a rare Red Squirrel hiding up a tree:

I am quite fortunate, in that where I live, is on the edge of one of Stuttgart‘s outer districts, so that I’ve got nature on my doorstep. There are open fields across the road, and go one kilometre down the end of the street and you’re literally in a forest.Kin, hell strum. Those pesky rams still trying to give you grief even in Stuttgart. I went to Stuttgart on business about 18 months ago, hoping to return later this year, I loved it. I often see squirrels about, but very, very few red ones. This chap was sat in the middle of the pavement then legged it up the tree by the time I’d got my iPhone out my pocket.
A couple of weeks back, my Sunday morning was slightly disturbed as someone released a flock of sheep into the field opposite:

Waterstones in town- tickets on the website
The fun was definitely in the chase. Previously I was always sceptical about clubs moaning about sky, big team bias etc but having witnessed it first hand this season it's taken a lot of shine off being a top flight club.I must admit I'm gradually going off the boil this season. Getting to the promised land seemed such a great adventure, but, as you say, it's turned out to be just the game with a whole bloody circus attached which has nothing to do with football. It's all rather boring and seems so pointless.
I think I'd rather like less ballyhoo and more chance of winning the odd game.
Yes, the Trent Nav are not happy, anticipating a huge loss of revenue. Hence Dave Willans and his crew using Forest Focus to try and push the venue.See county are getting in on the fan zone action - the nest 1500 capacity opening in next couple of months. Think that’s the 5th one opening up around the ground, can’t see them all thriving.
Anyone else get an email today saying you can put yourself on the season ticket waiting list? I Logged on to do it and the site doesn’t work - can’t put anything in the basket and check out. As usual - a complete joke.
I noticed that too. I mean c'mon, they have Spurs winning it in 2034!I love the way the AI is almost human, throwing in a few random clubs who are never likely to win it, but it would be boring if they went with reality and stayed with the half dozen clubs who are really likely to win it.
Dave should offer the Nav fan zone exclusively to away fans to Murder Lane.Yes, the Trent Nav are not happy, anticipating a huge loss of revenue. Hence Dave Willans and his crew using Forest Focus to try and push the venue.
Genuinely lol'd at thatI reckon one of the reasons the players don't win too many games at home this season is because they don't want to hear that shite, cringey Status Quo song after the match when we do win.
''lads, they're gonna play that rocking around the world shit in a few minutes at this rate, don't you dare attempt to head the ball''
Coops hated it that much it was the reason he made the suicide subs v Luton. He's a man of good taste & principles.
Bring back Depeche Mode

I keep meaning to ask Rachel how RPJ landed in Nottingham. I know Rick Parfitt is from Surrey way and with his global lifestyle Nottingham seems an odd place for his son to finish up. I presumed it was through his wife and divorce. I agree we should have Depeche Mode again though and I know the recently deceased keyboard player was a Nottingham guy. Good to have links to such huge anthems for us though.I know he's a proper Forest fan.
I think the fact that we had such belters over the past few years, coupled with the fact that it seems to be played in lots of PL grounds after matches- almost like there's an agreement with the PL (f*** them) to play it- makes it worse for me.
