Luke Chambers won this seasons Tom Finney award. It is the EFL award for outstanding achievements and service to the game.

Assuming the one who played for us not the kid at Liverpool... Deserves it, he has been very loyal to us, Northampton and then Ipswich, think he got 600 odd between those 3 clubs. And never the most gifted player but usually did his best (except that Brum game lol) at a time we were going for promotion and settling in also 2 play off sides.

Service to the game by standing in the centre circle as the opposition waltzed 50 yards down the pitch to score, then bailed on the post-match interview, forcing a youth team call-up player to do the honours at arguably the most difficult point of the club's history at that time?

I've been getting increasingly annoyed about the quantity (and in quite a few cases the quality) of emails the club is sending out - 3-4 a day every day regardless of whether there's a match on.

I've had nothing from them in the last 24 hours.

I wonder if they've gone to ground, realising the strength of feeling.

There hasn't been that much on the social media feeds either since the infamous "11,000" tweet.

Unfortunately, Forest, your silence speaks volumes.

Your next communications ought to be:

• Apology for the nature of social media postings.
• Announcement of some kind of rethink/restructuring of the ticket prices.
• Acknowledgement that you got it SO far wrong you can see the curvature of the Earth.

I'm not holding my breath, but I shouldn't have to.

So we, a team who struggle with conceding goals, turn our attention to a guy renowned for playing batshit crazy football that while entertaining leaks goals. He was tasked with strengthening the defence during the winter break and took it from a 1.3 goals conceded per game to an average of 2.25

Also renowned for being stubborn and having no plan B when his wild approach doesn't work. Sounds like the perfect fit for us

Is he any good Strums?

He coached the VfB for twenty games in 2019, winning 11 (55%).

He’s a shrewd tactical coach, not afraid to mix up his teams. He didn’t get going really in Stuttgart and was perhaps harshly sacked (especially as the VfB had effectively poached him from Holstein Kiel).

He had over a hundred games after that at Hamburg, but could not get them out of the 2. Bundesliga, but that is itself a stern task.

He does favour open, attacking football, that I can tell you.
