What has Dominguez done wrong?
Why was Origi preferred to Elanga?
Is this one season too many for Felipe?
Was Reyna only recruited as a stand by for MGW?
Can we really afford Taiwo given his injury record?
Has Wood finally won over the faithful?
Is Arter still in the building?
Will Nuno settle on his first choice X1 before the end of the season?

Asking for a friend…

We do seem to have stemmed the flow of goals against to some degree: conceding a goal a game over the last five, whereas before that we were a bit more all over the place - 4 here, 3 there etc.

Sels.

It makes so much difference having a keeper who is capable and doesn't panic the defence.

The 4-2 vs Villa is largely on playing the kitty at LB rather than any keeper issues.

Having a solid keeper certainly helps, but I think there's a little more to it - adding experience next to Murillo, height in an otherwise currently unspectacular Yates and Origi, who I'm not sold on, Sangare even, though that's a stretch on yesterday's performance.

If we can solve the next problem and creat more again think we'll be ok...

He's great Lawsy - for sure!

I idolised him as a full back as a kid - fancy growing up watching him one side and Pearce the other! He secured his status deep in my heart later in life with chicken-gate, and now I get to hear him fumble about with words in semi-comedy fashion, like Micheal out of Alan Partridge on the radio.

Love him!

I'm absolutely sick to death of this season. Referee decisions, points deductions, Klopp media wank-fest, Man City still taking the piss... It's all a corrupt farce and is about as much to do with actual football as F1 is about cars racing around a circuit. f*** it all to hell and back.
I must admit I'm gradually going off the boil this season. Getting to the promised land seemed such a great adventure, but, as you say, it's turned out to be just the game with a whole bloody circus attached which has nothing to do with football. It's all rather boring and seems so pointless.

I think I'd rather like less ballyhoo and more chance of winning the odd game.

Bin VAR!
See county are getting in on the fan zone action - the nest 1500 capacity opening in next couple of months. Think that’s the 5th one opening up around the ground, can’t see them all thriving.

You mentioned a little while ago that you were hoping to attend a game through one of the hospitality avenues, did you get to go VP?

I've reached the point of absolute apathy. The unlevel playing field, both on and off the pitch has made football the most joyless experience.

I think a combination of losing Cooper and the feel good factor, VAR and general incompetence of the officials week in week out, the FFP nonsense that only applies to anyone outside of the top 6, the massive wages and rotating doors of players that we have little to no attachment to, and in general the match day experiences that have changed noticeably in such a short space of time. I can only imagine how watered down it will be in 5+ years time if we manage to establish ourselves in this division

Unfortunately I guess this is what you sign up for when you fight your way into the EPL, if it wasn't for the long term health of the club i'd have no problem dropping back down a division
