Summer 2023 Transfer Window

I'd really appreciate it if people could summarize the nottingham post stories too. The headlines are usually highly misleading and the mobile site is an absolute state.

Nottingham Post - Johnson signs in EPL transfer shocker.

Translated to - Johnson was visiting a local hospital where he helped resolve a Panini sticker swap between a couple of deaf kids.

With Surridge off, there is likely to be another forward coming in, Wood being the only other realistic option at the moment and he missed the back end of the season with injury. Indecently is he still not recovered?

I would have thought the target man will be on the same level if not better than Awoniyi to take the team forward (pun most definitely intended).

The priority has got to be a left back. With Lodi not signing, & Toffolo probably going to get some kind of ban, that leaves us having to play Neco on the wrong side.

Richards I think will go out on loan.

The fact Richards didn't even get a few minutes in the most meaningless of friendlies says to me that a year on he still isn't ready for full contact football. The training videos only seemed to show him doing some light ball work and not in the competitive games.

Covered off by Cooper in his post match interview - Richards & Biancone on the grass but not ready yet.

Richards ain't coming back. Long term health issues. Hairline fractures taking longer to heal than an ACL = underlying problems

There's going to be an exciting development today. I can feel it. Thinking Sangare or the Brazilian striker.

More out of hope than expectation.

It's a definite worry. Desperately need a left back and its all gone very quiet on that front since Lodi was removed from the board.

If after a year he’s still only just ready to stand about on grass, but not play preseason games, then it’s very unlikely he’s going to develop the kind of match fitness required to play a Premier League fixture against Arsenal in 3 weeks or whatever it is now.

I feel for the lad because obviously things have gone to shit for him, but I’ll be amazed if after the type of injuries he’s had hes ever able to play consistently at this level. There’s clearly been some kind of recurring issue and those things don’t tend to just recover permanently. Really hope I’m wrong though.

Well he’s off to Spain with the rest of the squad so I suspect he’ll be fine.

The LB position is a big concern now I must admit. Especially after being linked with the shitty Croat from Rangers.

Thankfully Neco looks better there than at RB if things get desperate.
