Normally the Forest media lot give us a nice 'Good morning reds' on Twitter. I hope they are busy with something else right now :p
I think the whole team fly back tomorrow so I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Saturday/Sunday at the earliest.

Cracking post and not negative at all.

Pretty much sums up where I am, as well. We are doing smart business, improving the squad significantly but it's still going to be a fight week in, week out and first target simply has to be to scrape together enough points to stay up.

Fantastic to see some outside validation that our signings appear to be good, too. Always get worried we are all in our little echo chambers convincing ourselves that we have signed quality.
This is where I'm at. We all love to see signings and when we're splashing the kind of money we've never spent in our history on players it's easy to get excited.

But I do cringe when I see stuff on social media about us finishing top half etc and it isn't all tongue in cheek. We've signed good players on paper but we've seen many times in the past that stats on paper and transfer fees don't always equal a success on the pitch. We've given ourselves a great chance but whilst to us we're spending loads, to a lot of other PL clubs we're spending the kind of money that gets you a squad player.

The players have to gel too which isnt a given and then Cooper himself is now at a level where he is untested surrounded suddenly by relatively big signings on big money with the egos and outside noise that the Premier League brings. So who's to say Cooper won't struggle?

I would love us to finish top half but we need to be realistic and realise that 17th will be a huge success considering where we were after Wembley.

I hope it wasn't your intention, but suggesting that Cornet and Awoniyi in the post you quoted are "ridiculous names" comes across as xenophobic.
Well I certainly wasn’t saying anything about Awoniyi but I do think me Cornets name is faintly ridiculous. I’ve no idea what colour or race he is by the way.

But disappointed you don’t have your pronouns on here Otis-missing a virtue signalling opportunity?!?!

There's nothing "virtue signalling" about my post. I was merely responding to your weirdly bizarre comment.

I see Brandon Williams isn't going on the ManUre pre season jolly. Worth a look or just too confusing now?

Don't they wear numbers in American prisons?
They do, although if you are Elvis Presley in Jailhouse Rock, you rather embarrassingly wear two different numbers, thanks to a continuity error.

Anyone think the loss tonight, as little as it means will have any effect on the recruitment teams thoughts? Make them push the boat out even more than they have so far.

It shouldn’t do but you never know in football, people over react over nothing all the time.
