6 weeks is roughly the peterborough game, which is 23rd april, depending on how well he recovers, that's the last 4-5 games of the season, plus possible playoffs he'll be back for, he will miss 6-7 league games plus the FA Cup QF, considering he could barely walk off the pitch, that's good news, I was expecting him to be out till next season
Then has to get match for again, I think we won't see much more of him this season, just need to hope by the time he's back that we have secured the playoffs and we can introduce him back slowly for the playoffs.

I expect Figs to play but would like to see Panzo/Mbe Soh step up (fitness permitting), with McKenna/Worrall moving more central.

Would also have been nice to give Laryea some minutes over the last few months.

With the run in being congested as it is, we could have done with some contributions from the ‘fringe’ players, just to keep things fresh. Injuries and suspensions force Coopers hand, but it creates an opportunity for someone to step up, like Horvath did.

I don't think that will be much of an issue, Coops has shown hes not afraid to throw players in at the deep end before tbh

We'll just have to see, I'm going with the logic that we'll barely see him again this season, so any games are a bonus, rather than be optimistic and disappointed

I had fears when Grabban got injured, but the club's replacements (Davis and Surridge) not only alloyed those fears but gave me fresh hope for a playoff challenge.
Fingers crossed the defensive players are of a similar quality.

I like the look of Panzo but I don't think he's been on the bench yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone.

So I think it will most likely be Figs replacing Cook in the starting 11.

I'd rather see Mbe Soh out of all of them but Panzo looks like he's got something about him, too.

Just really unsure on the fitness level of all of them.

Neither Soh or Panzo have been anywhere near the 18, Figs has always been the 4th choice, I'd assume as you are that Figs takes the spot and Panzo/Soh on the bench.

I don't think the match fitness thing will be a major issue because I expect Cooper to bring him on to see games out when he starts to come back.
Hopefully build him up nicely for the play offs

Depends when he's back, may only have 3 games then it's the playoffs (if we get there).

Anyone here an expert on kneecaps?

Britt Assombolonga could tell you what you want to know.
The kneecap is a triangular bone that protects the complex bio-mechanics of the knee joint.
It is properly called "the Patella", and when it breaks it is generally a lateral fracture that is pulled apart by the seriously stong tendons top side and bottom end.
It can be a bugger to heal quickly because of the dynamic tension between the upper and lower tendons always pulling the fracture apart.

This was a proper signing from the get-go. Worrall and McKenna went to another level when he joined. Sounds like they all cricket mates too.

A class act again, carried on where he left off pre-injury. Ironic how much Bournemouth could have done with him tonight.....

I genuinely thought it was harsh Figs got dropped then Cook put in that performance

Yes, it was harsh to drop him - but that extra experience was really vital...

...and if Figs really is off at the end of the season, as I expect, when his contract expires, then we're doing the right thing using the players who will be here.

If we do somehow pip Bournemouth to automatic promotion, I think it is safe to say that they will have dropped a massive bollock letting us have this guy. Excellent signing.

Him Worrall & McKenna are the best 3 that have played in this division for years, that goes for any club

All 3 are immense, they block absolutely everything and head absolutely everything

If we do go up we won't need another defender
