Toby has been amazing, but I think it was important to bring Cook in with last night's referee.

Cook knew how to play Mitrovic. Toby, for all of his improvement, would have given away free kicks/chances.

At the end of the day decisions like this are why managers are payed the big bucks-two instances where Coops clearly feels there is a stronger player who deserves to be given special treatment despite "next man up" performing well-Samba and Cook.
And that's fine, the only trouble is you have to be careful when you trot out mantras but then don't stick to them, theres only so many of those contradictions that a dressing room will take before there are cracks...

Cook , Worrall and McKenna superbly marshalled Fulham‘s danger-man, and they were proper giving him the wind-up as well, to the extent that Mitrovic got himself booked for dissent, because he’d gotten nothing from the Forest men, he cracked like an egg as the match wore-down.

According to the Bournemouth fans, such as there are, Cook is crap. A trouble maker forced to train away from the first team. They clearly have no idea about anything. He was there 10 years and in that time they didn't realise he was a player. Seems some think Parker is ok too.
Also they do like to argue amongst themselves, it's not nice and friendly like it is here.

Well if that’s the case, if they’ve got any more disruptive troublemakers they don’t want, Forest might be interested?

Don't you remember the end of Warburtons reign?

Just to add I absolutely love Cookie, he has only been with us less than 5 months but feels like it's been much longer and that he's part of the furniture.

This just illustrates that as disappointed as we all naturally are, tonight's result is an insignificance in the grand scheme of things.

I hope Mr Cook makes a speedy recovery.

Under the circumstances it makes his son's performance even more remarkable.

I've no doubt that would have had an effect on the team. I thought they looked nervous at the start of the game, but perhaps it was just the dark cloud of Steve's dad being very poorly.

If he knew and carried on playing then all credit to him especially with the injury as well.

Hope his dad gets better and is well enough to see his son raise the playoff trophy at Wembley.
