Haaland/Man City about to be awarded a penalty by VAR intervention for exactly the type of tussle we were denied
Because Man City, obviously.Haaland/Man City about to be awarded a penalty by VAR intervention for exactly the type of tussle we were denied
You need to watch it again.
At first look it appears to be a poor touch, but just happens that as he is in the act of controlling the ball someones foot kicks through the back of his. It's irrelevant whether there was sufficient force to bring him down because the important thing was Young kicked Reyna and in doing so impeded his ability to controlthe ball in the area. And throughout this nobody has denied it wasn't a foul just that there was insufficient force to bring him down which is effectively the bit after the foul play.
Just seen the Arsenal penalty. Absolutely laughable.

When is a mutual engagement a foul? When it's top six.
When is a tussle or coming together a foul? See above.
Absolute joke how people can’t see the VAR bias, it is a carbon copy of the Ashley Young foul. Joke.
Yup.You what? Is Atwell the VAR in the City/Wolves game?
Well I’m stumped. I thought it was typical that the ref was brought to the screen for what looked like a ‘tangle’ but never realised Atwell was the VAR.Yup.
Maybe we should demand the audio for this one as well.Well I’m stumped. I thought it was typical that the ref was brought to the screen for what looked like a ‘tangle’ but never realised Atwell was the VAR.
Is it tangle or tussle ?
Since I'm not biased I'll point out that perhaps he's learned it was a clear and obvious penalty from the subsequent discussion where it's been unanimously agreed it was a clear and obvious penalty, the twat. It’s pretty open and shut really. Either Atwell has demonstrably shown bias in intervening to give City a penalty today and not doing so for exactly the same incident for us against Everton - or he has only just learned in the interim that taking out a player from behind in the penalty area without getting near the ball is a foul. Which I find difficult to believe from a referee that has been selected to represent the PGMOL at Euro 2024.
'mutual engagement'Maybe we should demand the audio for this one as well.
That will be the line yes. Well done Stuart AtwellSince I'm not biased I'll point out that perhaps he's learned it was a clear and obvious penalty from the subsequent discussion where it's been unanimously agreed it was a clear and obvious penalty, the twat.
Well done for being a crap twat last week. That will be the line yes. Well done Stuart Atwell
He's literally insinuating that there's conscious bias there so he should be up for the same charge as Nuno
Chris Wilder claiming that Forest were given the second goal, because the refs didn’t want to go against Forest after everything going on with us and the PGMOL. Surely that is just as bad as ours? He is claiming bias and corruption, and that the refs had a bias prior to the game. But will he get a fine? No because its not Forest
Yeah probably. It was stupid to give him the opportunity that is for sure.I get being annoyed. But having seen it a few times, it is a definite penalty on B-D, by Montiel. Yes there isn’t much contact, but that is because B-D has to basically dive over Montiel to stop himself getting cleaned out. Nailed on penalty
