After the succession of managers we've had, you'd have thought that once we get one who actually has a footballing brain and likes to play the game properly that he might get the backing of the fans.
How wrong I was.
Despite inheriting a mess which just about stayed up, circa 20 games in with a completely new squad there are people calling for his head. Words fail.
The blokes big enough to admit mistakes, listen to his squad. Fair enough.
Ive had enough of changing manager. We have a good one now and we should back him.
If you're going to go down there and moan for 90 mins (like the bloke behind me does) then do me a favour and stay at home/ in the pub.
If these players think that they are good enough to play their own game and not worry about the oppo, lets see it then boys.

Current form says loss to me, but i agree that we should not be negative tomorrow . If we give Sharp and Cox decent service you would think we could outscore most teams Leeds included. I mentioned in another thread we have to many loanees and will never have players gelling until this is sorted.

Agreed, with the team we have I would say most if not all teams in this league would fear us and our best 11. Get Jamaal starting and hopefully this Derry winger might just give us the width we need come Jan. A bit more self belief wouldn't go amiss and I don't just say this as a fan but because the first 11 have more than decent players.
What if he has been right to do so though? It is all well and good saying we lost so it failed but who is to say against Watford for example that if we did not set up the way we did we would have lost by 4 or 5.
The time where it is clear (and probably the reason why we have been setting up differently based on opposition) not setting up to counter the opponents threat is a bad way of doing things is where we lost 4-1 to Millwall. Completely disregarded their strength and were well and truely battered.
I am not saying he has been going the right way about it, personally for me changing formation is not the way especially 3-5-2 a system that I despise thanks to Gary Megson! Maybe we have over done it and it has backfired but I certainly think we are going down the right track in countering the threat opposition can cause. Maybe just about finding a balance. It is fairly obvious we are still in search of that winning formula, nothing being done so far has produced it so I can't really argue with the chopping and changing going on at the moment but considering we are doing that and are 4 points outside the play-offs is pretty good going as far as I'm concerned.

SoD is too much a "small team" manager, always worrying about the others and not being the man who wants to win games by letting them worry about us.

The league is there for the taking - invest wisely and play well and we will end the season with promotion.
We are 9 points off of 20th place - which would be relegation worries.
We are also 1 point away from the play offs.
This tells you the League is there for the taking and no team is excelling. We can get promotion this season but we need to start playing consistently.
