Billing is incredibly athletic. Tall, fast, strong. Surprising he’s not at a mid table PL team at least.

He reminds me a bit of Fellaini. But, yeah. Definitely should be playing at a higher level. Bournemouth may be promoted now but in 2 years outside the top flight i'm surprised a Burnley or Everton type or a promoted side hasn't taken the punt on him.

Shame that second half chance was a half-chance and caught him off balance; perhaps the shoulder played a part?

Give him a rest now Steve and let him take a couple of days off, take a deep breath and come back renewed for the playoffs. Strap up his shoulder, he don't play with the hands.

Yup.

Said it elsewhere but was worried about whether we our two central midfield could cope against Lerma, Cook and Billing who are all technically very good players as well as being physical.

The answer was no, but I don't think we could have done anything differently to be honest.

I mentioned it after the Fulham and Swansea games but with Zinck being quite high up the pitch, it leaves Yates and Garner to do a hell of a lot of work and ground to cover. Against Fulham and Bournemouth with the quality they have they have struggled a bit. Definitely deserve a rest.

I think you are right, we are light in the CM department currently but of course it gives us numbers to hurt teams elsewhere on the pitch.
Of all the part of the team I think its the two in CM that look the most tired-Garners form has dropped most, his corners yesterday were shite but the work load on the lad over the season has been huge.
I'd give 'em both the day off against Hull...

Man needs to learn to use his left foot! But regardless of the result next Sun, well done to him, proved his class this year.

Not at his best but given the amount of pain he looked to be in during the first leg from his shoulder, doubt he is near to 100% at the moment.
Definitely need more strength in depth in this position next year, whatever league we're in.

When asked how his shoulders doing, the little smirk and 'it'll be fine'

You try and tell him he's not fit to play at Wembley

He could break every bone in his body and the lad would still somehow soldier on and play the full game at Wembley. Proper warrior who will run through brick walls for the cause.

Hopefully he'll contribute. Last night's game passed him by.

He contributed the first time we played Huddersfield this season - having a hand in their Goalie's own goal, and putting in a very good performance in midfield, so no reason to think he won't do the same again.
(I've gone back to that one, because he missed the 2nd game against Udders, with a rare Ojeda appearance in midfield)

And he scored in the Cup match. I'm a little worried that he might be running on empty though.

As good as they are, his contributions are limited to spoiling again. With garner also hit & miss currently, we've lost that ability to put our foot on the ball when constantly overrun.

Central midfield is the major worry going into the final. Which is why Davis is a must to keep posession and drive us forward.
