I see FIFA are f***ing around with automatic offside recognition for this tournament just to really rile everyone up even more.

It was an A2 sized version of this famous photo:

I shall let you answer your own question, given the evidence above!

Bet it was laminated for easy wipe cleaning

To be honest I think automatic offside is the way forward, but no doubt we’ll have to endure some farcical nonsense before it works properly

In news that will prompt much tittering from certain members, the DFB has announced that they will in future drop the nickname „Die Mannschaft“ for the German National Team:

Whilst the name has gained a certain amount of traction, and has featured on the replica kits, it has remained unpopular in some quarters, and now, the side will simply be known as the „Nationalelf“ again.

I can't starve & walk around bollock naked but I will boycott this horrendous world cup

Although in our house we might go full on Tom & Barbara Goode which will help against capitalist supply chains

It's the hypocrisy that really boils me piss PZ
I felt like that until I watched 'David Beckhams Qatar weekend stopover'. It's clearly a wonderful place.

Well the Qatar World Cup seems a good place to iron out the farcical nonsense.

As it's World Cup related, is the first prize a FIFA branded envelope full of cash?

In a tough group with England and Wales, I fancy USA to be the surprise package.

They have some really good players. Dest, Reyna, McKennie, Pulisic, Aaronson, Ferreira.

Also think Uruguay will do well.

I remember visiting, many times, all the states in that area very shortly after the British influence was replaced by their own rule.

Since independence, the vast wealth that unlocked has led to most of them becoming arrogant and overbearing to a great degree. Qatar has become particularly outspoken and unpleasant. Not a place I would choose to visit these days.

Incorrect. The USA is NOT a good side right now, nor is Berhalter a good manager. Pulisic is always hurt and, imho, over-rated. Dest is quick but not smart. McKennie I do rate. Ditto Gio Reyna---he has a very bright future.

I am currently watching Belgium dismantle Wales. I am not looking forward to Canada's opening game v Belgium. WE may end up conceding six, or more.

Yeah--I got the info from the Voyageurs site on facebook. Zero shots on target though. But I do stand corrected. Now Canada-Qatar! Oh, the lofty heights!

Yeah, it was 2-0, the match was - bizarrely - played in Düsseldorf, here in Germany (no, me neither).

The US were frankly rubbish though. The Samurai Blue ran absolute rings around them.

Granted, the Americans were missing Christian Pulisic and some of their other better players, and Tim Ream, but they looked like a Pub team.

Holy shit are Qatar ever shit. They are going to get f***ing killed.
Of course they're shit, they're a tiny nation of medieval slavetrading fucktards who've got loads of money & bought a WC

Not that anyone gives a f*** apart from the families of 6k dead slaves

Still at least we'll get fireworks, KDB & Mbappe so they weren't all killed for nothing
