Big fan of Zink, but dont see him faring any better than the likes of Lingard & MGW.

He did spend a heck of a lot of time on the periphery of games when he was here.

Similar to Krovinović, most fans didn't appreciate what he provided until he was no longer around. The out of possession impact was a key component to how we played, maybe not always the most impactful players on the ball and certainly not PL level but their work rate and urge to press teams from the front is something we really miss

The only player I can see being capable of filling in that 'hard working #10' role would be O'Brien

I appreciated what Krovinovic brought, probably more than most, he protected the ball with his life. Something that cant be said of Zink, who coughed it up regularly.

Im not seeing a lack of urgency in the forward press as a major issue personally. Gibbs White & Johnson seem pretty proactive, although both their end products were off against Fulham.

Controversial- I think we should get him back.
I wouldn't wish that if I were you, because I think the rationale of us bying him was the following: "good player, he will probably not make it in the Premier, but he might be ideal for Olympiacos; if he doesn't make it here, at least he's "ours" and if Forest does not survive in the Premier, he might have another shot there". In other words, the likeliest scenario in which you'll get him back will be in the Championship.

Incidentally, Belgian fans are raving about him and praize their luck that Corberan was stupid enough to let him go.

I really thought we should've kept him, he was surely a decent option even if only off the bench? I know I'm talking after a couple bad results and there's all this 'Well Watford binned him off' but he had a better season with us than he did them so looks to be improving. I thought he was worth keeping around.

You have to respect a players wishes though, if Zinck was willing to sit on the bench as back up he'd be here. He wanted to play football

You can see why Forest passed up on the opportunity to sign him if we knew we were going to spunk £150m+ on players and you'd have Lingard and MGW as options for the #10 role.

If we get relegated I'd like to see him back here.

Another lad that never needs to buy a pint if/whenever he’s back in Nottingham 🍻 Also one of the best names for a commentator to scream when he smashed one in for the Reds! Big part of the now legendary promotion side. If I were a top half Championship team I’d be all over a bit of Zink!!

One of the first names in the Forest sexy bastards XI.
Definitely doesn't have any problems on Tinder.

Still don't know what Coops was thinking not signing him for the price he was. One of my few criticisms of him. Would have been a great backup to MGW which we lacked all season.
