I've bid the price up on a couple of items, it's for charity so I don't want to see people wait till the last minute in the hope of getting things cheap!

what's Groundsmans experience? - sounds exciting! from 8am - 6pm - my guess at the official itinerary:-

THE NOTTINGHAM FOREST GROUNDSMAN EXPERIENCE

8.00 - meet and greet with groundsmen and tour of stadium
9.00 - cup of tea and choice of selection of broken biscuits
9.45 - Introduction to grass cutting equipment, rollers and flattening equipment
10.00 - cup of tea with copy of Daily Sport with optional head scratching and farting
10.45 - In depth explanation of a groundmens duties including feature length lecture on the role of the groundsman and the future of groundskeeping
10.46 - BREAK for cigarettes, beverages etc
11.00 - cup of tea and choice of selection of broken biscuits
11.45 - lawnmowing / rollering
12.00 - LUNCH (Please bring homemade hand pressed sandwiches as meal is not provided - if chocolate biscuits/crisps are brought please expect to share extensively with other staff)
12.45 - (if not finished lunch please take to portaloo and finish eating there)cup of tea and choice of selection of broken biscuits
13.00 - finish any lawn rollering that couldn't be completed earlier.
13.30 - Tour of the taps that turn the sprinklers on in preparation for afternoon activity
13.45 - cup of tea and choice of selection of broken biscuits
14.00 - Return to sprinkler taps and turn taps on if ground's a little bit dry (if the ground's not 'a little bit dry' this activity will be cancelled)

selection of broken biscuits currently consists of a miller, cohen, blackstock special mix

I just thought it sounded like the most mundane 'gift experience' ever! Might get it for my Dad - he wanted the Formula One experience but I feel this may be cheaper - and what a surprise that'd be!!

By all accounts, and the available evidence shows it, Ewan Hunter is rather good at his job. I have often thought about getting this for my dad (who's a very keen gardening enthusiast) but it would clash with him - er - watching Forest!
