You Are absolutely right - it’s not exactly intuitive though (I blame the colour scheme, though it might be my eyesight!)

For those on iOS:

Click on „Forest TV“ right at the top of the Screen, then in the menu-bar along the top, go to „Full Match Replays“, (it’s over at the end) and there they are!

Although there doesn’t seem to be an option for „full screen“ that I can find, they’re in a window in the app, which is a bit poor.

Only 720p as well, which is graining on the eyes if you have an HD device like a large iPad.

Oh well. First world problems.

Yeah, very awkward to the point of being unusable. I connected a mouse in the end. Also when I was connected by Ethernet it insisted I had no Internet connection... Had to switch to WiFi.
But, despite all that... It worked well for three match. Much better experience than casting a chrome tab.

Over the past few days, I've been alluding to there being no change to the content model in the new service. What they have is a new way to deliver that to fans.

There appear to be two main differences between this model and the previous iFollow model:

1) The streaming relay is coming from a new source. This might hold up a bit better than PTV's ropey old monster.

2) The platform has some features for
a) integrating the various accounts we might have with the club
b) a slightly more granular engagement regime
c) a more modern design, although it still looks 5 years old instead of 10

This should all be positive improvements, but its a not a radical departure.

Getting a new TV doesn't make BBC or ITV any different is my kind of analogy here.

I had problems with this - the system would not recognise my log in - assuming it was my fault e.g. wrong password etc, I tried to reset the password repeatedly over 2 days but the promised email with a link to enable this never arrived. So late Saturday I emailed the website and it was all sorted out within a few minutes. The service on a Saturday evening during a holiday weekend was excellent - thank you Ashley Lambley - you’re a credit to Forest.

Dreadful start tbh. No account migration so now in a battle with EFL to get the balance of my season pass refunded. ForestTV claim no knowledge of me, funnily EFL are simply trying the opposite suggesting I talk to Forest.

Have managed to sign up as a new client. Full match replay v Cardiff only available at 360p yesterday but miraculously is at 720p today! No 10 sec rewind to analyse the interesting bits or fast forward the timewasting bits. I guess it can only get better!

Yeah the remote support is not good, but it's a great work around if you have an air mouse remote. If you want one (that works) check out the minix A2 lite, it's usually around £20 but has a keyboard on the back aswell and it's really good.

We watched it live on our smart TV, using Mrs S's lap-top with an HDMI into the telly.
That worked fine.

Yep this pretty much makes the app useless for watching live :/

I’ve changed to watching through the website on my iPad instead, don’t think this was possible with iFollow but seems to work now.

Yeah, the app is a bit crap if it is so limited.

The website works (you weren’t able to do that with the old IFollow) so it’ll have to be that.

The app notifications are still laughably five minutes behind events though.

That's pathetic, it's no wonder people pirate the streams when the apps etc are so poorly made.

The worst thing is that functionality to display video full screen and to do Picture in Picture is bog-Standard functionality available in Xcode (for Apple devices) so effectively it’s more difficult to do what Forest have done.

Disappointed.

love it, typical Forest, make things more complicated with less functionality. I'm hoping its just teething issues as it's still Ifollow streams on a new service.
